I Had the text so rang lloyds and they confirmed it was genuine and someone had tried to use my account all sorted now card cancelled new one being sent

Worning: spoof phishing scam(providant)

What happened after that?

They text: "If you had a 3hr delay or cancelled flight in the last 6 years, EU Regs dictate you are entitled to up to £510 compensation. Reply DELAY for info, STOP opt out"

Received a text from this number saying:

We've been trying to contact you regarding your private or frozen work pension as it's time to get it reviewed. Reply PACK now for your free review, STOP optout

Had the same message from Halifax. Called their fraud team and they confirmed its genuine. I did suggest they made it clearer to users that this is a system they use, as it screams fraud to me. They assured me it's in the T&Cs. Assume same number from different banks because all use the same outsourced service.

Lloyds actually own Halifax. But I just had same thing but different amounts???

Text sent from this number regarding pension

THIS NUMBER IS LEGITIMATE SOMEONE TRIED TO TAKE £1100 FROM MY ACCOUNT.... contact your bank if you are texted by this number... so they can stop your card and any transactions made...

I got a txt from +44 7860 020888 saying my Capital One Account had suspicious activity at 4:10am and did I make a card purchase through Now TV for £69.99 Y or N. I called Cap One to check and it was a genuine attempt to fraudulently use my card as I didn't authorise the transaction! Call your bank/cedit card company first for peice of mind but in my case this was genuine fraud.

Had a text claiming to be TSB saying my card had been used on groupon and said I would receive a call in the morning

Just text me saying that they could write off up to 80% of my debt.. didn't mention being from the bank (I do bank with halifax) but it doesn't feel right.

To me they said I'm due PPI. Scammers

Juat had another message from this number. First one was claiming to be barclaycard. 2nd one claiming to be Curry's PC World. Obviously a scam. Avoid at all costs

Can confirm; it's definitely genuine from Lloyds. I called them after receiving the text which led to me discovering my card was being used fraudulently. If you've got any doubts just give the bank a call and they'll help you out.

I applied through noddle for credit card with chrome vanquis think run it.but spoke to somebody London accent confirming that I had just filled in for loan and this guy worked for credit card and wanted me to confirm everything so I did and I haven't even received card yet been over week now so don't know who now give details to now but this number txt right after claiming to be vanquis.dodgy

They claimed to be TSB and had my bank details said it had been used £10 on Skype

Text message received from this number saying...

Message deleted, clearly a scam
