Just checking if it was scam as very text normally come up with very not just a number. Little confused how it is a lloyds number Halifax and also very?

Received a text saying "Had a 3hr delay or cancelled flight in the last 6 years? EU regulation dictate you're entitled to £510 compensation per passenger. Reply DELAY for a claims pack" . I have been delayed by three hrs but i think this is purely down to data sharing n i wont be responding.

It's from vanquis. Wanting to set up a repayment plan for provident loans.

Basically when I got the number I said yes first but then I knew it was a scam and then I typed no and then I delet the yes message plz tell me if I did right

Text supposedly come from halifax

This is a genuine number from the bank, please do not ignore. I thought the text I received was dodgy but checked my account and nearly £400 had been taken. Called bank and they confirmed fraud. So pleased I checked.

Halifax card services  text me to ask me too verify a sum of £6499.41 which was used on line on the 3rd Jan. I do not own a Halifax card and have never had one so I did not reply.

Bc dental they state - trying to get me to download a newsletter. Obviously not done so.

Dodgy!!!

I got the same message from +44 7860 035284 asking if made a specific payment. Instantly they called me, asking a couple of questions, nothing about the card details. Actually they asked about all the transactions I made until I recognised the last transaction. Unfortunately there were 3 transactions that I haven't made but they weren't approved by the bank as well . They said that this card will be cancelled and they will send a new one to my home address. Later on, a friend of mine told me that usually instead of the number should appear Lloyds bank as usually appears when they send texts. Immediately I called the bank and they confirmed that my card was cancelled and they'll send a new one and the phone call was from a employee of Lloyds bank.
So if you see this message, I don't say to believe it but call your bank immediately for your own pace.

Someone has tried to put through an online transaction from my Lloyds account, the rest is the same as below. Fraud, I blocked the number.

These guys have been asking me about tax refund claims being it looks like a mobile number I think it a dodging number as someone I know got something similar I am sharing this scam and blocking it completely

I received a text asking to confirm a purchase I made with yes or no. The details of the purchase were correct.

I called Halifax, spoke to someone in their fraud department, it took them 10 minutes but finally confirmed the text is genuine.

Forgot to mention they said the number is automatically generated.

It's totally genuine.

Got a text from this mobile number claiming to be Halifax Building Soc.

Lloyds Bank has noticed your debit card ending 4022 was used online on 06-02-2017 18:28:00, at Debenhams for £45.99. This payment has not been debited from your account. Please confirm if this transaction was made by you by replying Yes or No. Replying with Yes will NOT cause the payment to debit your account.

I received this messages yesterday, fraud number  then I didn't give any reply,followed by call 003453510192. It's say from Lloyds all this fraud number

I had a text from this number, saying it was Vanquis bank and Visa had alerted them to an issue on my card.
I was obviously suspicious so I called my bank through the normal channels, and it was actually a genuine message.
The issue was that my card had been on a website or ATM where other Visa customers had had problems. There had been no suspicious activity on my account but they are sending me a new card with new numbers, just in case.
It's always worth contacting your bank through the normal means, just in case. But never reply to the email or text!
