They first started calling me from 1-888-222-4227 and now the calls are coming from 469-385-5260.  They do not leave messages but I've looked up both numbers online and the both come up with Drive Financial with the same comments: they say you are a reference for someone who wants a loan, they try to get information from you (DON'T GIVE THEM INFO ABOUT YOURSELF), they won't stop calling, they call 3-5 times a day, etc.  But I just wanted to inform that there are actually two numbers they attempt to call from.

The person calling was "Nakeesha" from Drive Financial Services. She specifically asked for Rich, and then said she was trying to get in touch with Lindsey, and he should have her call the toll free number 1-888-222-1227 in regard to her account. I (Karen) called the phone number, and it was for a company called Miracle Method. This is the wrong number, as the person answering the phone said they often get phone calls from people trying to contact Drive Financial. I then called the number on our caller ID, 469-385-5260. The automated answering asked for an account number or SSN. So I was unable to contact someone.

We only know one Lindsey, and she was a neighbor. She moved away over two years ago. We believe she has falsely used our name on a loan of some kind.

Someone has falsely used our name on some kind of a loan, or account. This company has been contacting us on a daily basis. They give a false toll free number to call back, and it's immpossible to contact them on the number that show's on the caller ID. You have to have a SSN or account number.

This number belongs to drive financial.... it's for people with low credit or bad credit who want to get car financed. My husband and I had to go through them because even though he had good credit, he had too many things on his credit. But as son as your a day or two late, Drive Financial with start calling obsessively until they have their payment. I have informed them I sent my payment in, and yet they still call 5-8 times a day. I would pay over the phone, unfortunately, they charge about $10 just to give them the payment over the phone, and the mail takes forever for them to process, so it leaves you in a bind. this happens about every month to me and I'm getting tired of it. If their calling and you don't have a loan with them, then it's most likely because somebody put you as a reference and failed to inform you.

This number is certainly Drive Financial.  I bought my house in 2007.  The lady who sold to me, had rented the house to tenants and evicted them about a year before I purchased the house from her.  I've now owned the house for about 1.5 years and the entire time, Drive Financial has been sending me billing statements to the previous renters at my address.  I suppose the previous renters don't know how to manage their bills by updating with their new address!  I politely mark the mail "return to sender, addressee unknown", but Drive Financial never gets the message.

One day I got tired of politely sending the mail back to sender, so I opened the envelope "gasp!" (I know I violated some stupid law somewhere, not common sense law however).  Knowing that Drive would assume I was lying, I masked my CID with *67.  I explained my situation and requested that I never see another piece of mail from Drive.  The representative was actually very helpful and explained that I would not see anything else from Drive Financial.

Then today, I got two calls from Drive Financial at the number I had masked before calling in.  CID masking is obviously worthless if the other end can "unmask" it.  The first call was just silent.  I said "hello" a few times and then hung up with no response.  The second call came right after the first call, and a vaguely familiar voice (I think it was the voice of the rep that I had explained my situation too a few days earlier), said "Is Jeffrey there?".  Knowing that Jeffrey is the name on all the envelopes that I returned, and knowing that my name has always been Brandon, I replied "There is no Jeffrey at this number.", to which the caller abruptly hung up.

Watch out for Drive Financial.  They have terrible debt collection methods when they begin reversing CID masking to see if they can catch their debtor at a phone number that has never previously been in their database.  I'm considering contacting a Texas law enforcement agency if the calls from Drive Financial continue.

Now I have to deal with junk mail and junk calls from Drive Financial.  I should have called from a pay phone.

Call several times a day and does not leave a message. Sometimes back to back.

Just got a call from this, initially, unknown number on my cell. Only their full number showed on my phone. I googled the number, found out  it's from Texas, then say this website. First time I got this call and did not answer since I don't tend to answer unrecognized numbers. No message left. Knowing now that this is Drive Financial I remembered that my best friend refinanced his car thru them and told me he had put me down as a reference. Supposedly this company is owned by or run by a NASCAR driver, team owner, or such if I recall correctly from what my friend told me.  He paid them on time every month until he died of liver cancer in April 09.  Hopefully I won't get hounded like others. I tell em they'll have to call Heaven instead.

I wish they would stop buggin me...(Drive or Santander)  They will get their money when I have it.

They came and picked up my car and didn;t even know they did. Talked to a couple of people that didn't even know what we were talking about. Had our name wrong on paperwork when the car was picked up, say it must of been a typo..whatever. Our statements show that we owe more on the car than we did when we bought it 3 years ago. They don't know how to explain it. oh well, Drive Financial or Santander, whoever they are they have our car and can keep it along with their dumb*** employees.

Whatever you do, DO NOT AGREE TO AUTHORIZE a ONE-TIME electronic payment for your account. They store the info and when the mood strikes they submit another UNAUTHORIZED payment! Nice job on the bank account A-holz. This is an admitted bunch of low life jerks that take advantage of people in bad situations. Little better than loan sharks.

Received an inbound call on February 19, 2010 at 0905 hours to which I did not answer.  They did not leave a message.  According to previous reported complaints about calls from 469.385.5260, the point of origin derives from Drive Financial, AKA Santander Consumer, AKA Triad Financial.  This organizations phone harassment tactics and unethical business practices are well documented on the web at numerous call complaint/report sites with a myriad of area codes and phone numbers used to place calls.

i have a loan with them and make all payments early. so i have no idea why they keep calling.  I dont answer any calls from numbers i dont know and they never leave a message.  they also keep calling from these other numbers, 214-540-2035  and 214-237-3516.

I am going to file a lawsuit for 'Harrassment' against Drive Financial & Santander Corp... I get 5 harassment calls a day and they even call me once or twice after 9 p.m. at night... They simply don't care and it is time for anyone who reads this blog to take this problem seriously and take appropriate action.

First, if you are late on a payment, they don't care as your telephone number is installed into a 'predictive dialing' computer and someone on the other end who doesn't give a damn just makes repeat calls all day long not caring who is on the other line... That is why these imbeciles don't say anything when you pick up the phone on several occasions...
It would be a professional manner for these companies to call you 'once' and than a followup call weekly... This is the professional way to handle late payments...
However, these deplorable people even if arrangements are made for a future payment will harrass you with several types of calls and messages, and even calls that no one is on the other end...
They do this because 'harrassment calls' pay and they have found it gets payments in quicker... The problem is that you and I don't do anything about it... Here is what you need to do right NOW !

Your first step is to log onto a website called the 'National Do Not Call Registry' - here is the site, copy and paste it in your web subject line: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
Register your name and number and file the complaint with notes... do this on every call that is harrassing... If you informed them NOT to call you again, as I have many times, than there is a detailed place to put your message...
Do this everyday if need be... Only takes one minute...
The government will respond to these guys I promise !

There is a 'fine' line between bill collecting and 'harrassment'...

I believe that the state of Texas will soon fine the daylights out of these companies, or revoke their licenses... Heads will roll...

My loan was taken over from HSBC which does not give loans to people with bad credit.  I am 1 month late but I don't need someone calling every 5 min that is for sure, I didn't realize who it was.  Now that I know, I will be answering to tell them off!

Mine was sold to them also...had no idea and from what I have read here I am not happy.
