I did all the below through the Internet and on my cellphone, while brewing my morning coffee and baking biscuits for breakfast.  It took me forty-five minutes, including coffee and biscuit time and cleanup of the breakfast dishes.

I had been receiving forty to fifty calls per day from the above number.

This number is now provided through Level 3 Communications, Inc., North American Headquarters,1025 Eldorado Boulevard, Broomfield, CO 80021,  1-720-888-1000.  Also 1-877-253-8353.

Level 3 Communications bought out TelCove after that company failed due to the corruption under it's previous company name Adelphia, which had previously been Hyperion.  Apparently, corruption is still a company problem.

COMPANY FRAUD NUMBER: 1-800-348-5457:
I called the FRAUD number and made my complaint of forty to fifty calls per day from this number and within minutes the calls stopped.  I asked who operated this number, who was their customer.

I got a supreme "run-a-round" from the FRAUD person stating the number was inactive and this must be a spoof racket, or that it was a private number and covered by federal privacy laws and they could not give out the name of the customer.  

I stood my ground and stated "No, this is not a spoof racket, this number is current and operated through your company!"  I further stated that:"This number is provided by your company to a federally financed non-profit or company acting as agent for various government jurisdictions around the nation, therefore; the customer name, contact and address are not protected by privacy laws as government holds no right to privacy.  I want that name or Level 3 will be the primary respondent party name in the litigation."

I was routed "upstairs" to someone in the company legal office who stated they would take the information, research it and call me back with whatever they could release.

Within 15 minutes of speaking to the Level 3 FRAUD employee, the calls from 502-213-2798 stopped.

Clearly, Level 3 Communications Inc. has immediate power over the use of the phone number.

This is a service that you sign up for to be automatically notified when an inmate is released. The only way to receive a call from this number is if you sign up for "VINE" and input the inmate's ID number, pick a password and punch in the phone number that you want them to call as soon as the inmate is released. It was set up for victims so they know when the perp is released.

This is from the VINE service (as previously mentioned) you have to enter the PIN number you created when you signed up for the program to stop repeated calls. PLEASE STOP CALLING! I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF RECEIVING THE SAME CALL EVERY TWO HOURS!!!! IT IS INTERFERRING WITH MY SCHOOL AND WORK!

Stop them from calling late evening calls also..recording wants you to put in your pin without even knowing who you are talking too..please STOP remove my number...

For the past two days I have been getting automated calls ... No way to stop ! It gets even worse that if I do not enter a 4 digit pin the calling  will go on every 2 hours. What to do ? The message is that a certain person is in prison.  Who cares... Do not know such a person ......stop these annoying calls...hate to get a new mobile number to get rid of these calls

This number calls my son's cell phone 10 times daily.. in school mostly.... This is an automatic system of some sort.... unknown who or why my son is 15

I get 10 to 20 cakls from this number everyday. The message they leave is in spanish. I want these calls to stop immediatelly.

Somebody registered your  number with V.I.N.E.      They only hassle you, never seem to give any info

For a VINE call, you have to answer and respond to the message to have your number taken off the list.  If you continue to ignore the calls, they will keep calling. I also have a "block caller" feature on my phone so I can block specific numbers.  Unfotunately, it looks like the "do not call" list is a thing of the past.

This number rings my phone a minimum of 15 to 20 times a day.  It states that I'am a Plaintiff in a case against a woman (whose name I can not understand).  I have no legal action pending against anyone!  I need for this to stop!

This is the Vine network, it is used to notify about an inmates status ie; being moved/transferred, released, or escaped... it is setup/requested by Friends,Family,& Victims..... If your getting calls, then someone at sometime had your number and added it for inmate info.... Why you call me i do not ho are you stop call please

This is correct. I received a call and I am registered with VINE. I registered on the Arkansas Department of Corrections web site. When I registered, it gave me the choice of English or Spanish for the preferred language.

Bothering me ALL day and night. Calls at all hours of the night. Leave me alone!

This number is calling me at 7am in the morning. This falls outside of the FTC requirements and they are in violation.

Annoying, cowardly, nonstop nonsense

Calling often. They played a message that said someone named Williams is not being paroled, that he's a sexual predator, and they want me to put in a pin number.
