I got a call from this and hit ignore, but then I thought it may be American Express calling (they've called from a 503 area code before) so I called back. An automated machine came on telling me it was the Do Not Call Registry and if I wanted to add my number to the list to press 1 then input my 10 digit number. Not only am I already on the registry, but I'm pretty sure they don't call you. Clearly this is a scam of some sort. My advice is when you don't recognize the number, don't answer it, then call the number back from a different phone line (if possible). You can usually tell if it's a scam or not, and you aren't risking answering and letting these people know when you're available for calls.

These calls go on for months from the same number.  The FTC is a total joke.  With all the technology we are taxed for, they could send a drone to ferret out this assh^&$*.  I'm beginning to think that the FTC has one person on the do not call registry and his name is "Peggy".   Let's start writing our congressmen/senator to pull the FTC's budget if they don't crack down on these low lifes.

I constantly get recorded calls from 503-468-5987.  The only identification is "this is Rachel from Card Holder Services".

PLEASE do something about this.

I received a phone call from this number today at 9:28am. I didn't call them back and now I see that other people have gotten calls from this number too...

I have had the same experiences with this company and have asked at least 5 times to be removed from their call list.  I was called again yesterday and i returned the call to get an automated do not call registry message I added my niumber to their list lests see if it works.  If not I will start sending them a bill for my time to deal with them.

I guess they are still at it - I just got a call from this number as well.  Fortunately I "missed" the call and since I would have to "pay" to find out who it is (even on a "free" lookup page - what's up with that?) I'm glad I missed the call

I called the number back on 11/15/11 and it is an automated service saying if you wish to have your number added to the do not call registry please enter your number now.  Think it is a scam on how to give your number out.  Why would they start calling people to get them added.

I just got one from them, too, on 11/15/11.  I don't know how they got my cell number.  I don't give it out.

Got a call from 503-468-5987 on my husband's cell.  When we dialed it back we were told it was the national do-not-call registry, and were asked to enter our 10-digit number.  Now why would the do-not-call registry call us?

^^^^^ Clearly it's not the do-not-call registry.  You just confirmed that your number is working number. Expect more calls.

I got a call but didn't hear it. They didn't leave a message, so I called the number back and got a recording saying it was a "Do Not Call Registry." The only option given was to "press 1" (which was repeated often). I opted NOT to do so, since they called me. Why would a "do not call" registry be calling people?

got a call from this number also, today at 9:11. Didn't answer but called back and it was a message talking about the same thing, unregistering your number.
