no one on the line when I answered

I got a call from this # on my cell phone this afternoon.  I did not answer it.  Tonight I called the number from my land phone.  The message indicated that it was the National Do Not Call registery and if I wanted my number on the list to hit #1 now.  I hung up and my phone immediately rang.  I believe that this is the caller's way to verify and use your number.  Obviously it was not the DNC registery since I am listed with them already.  A lot of good that does!

My cell phone showed a call from 503-468-5987. I didn't recognize the number but answered. No one on other end. Ended call and dialed number. Got a robo-voice telling me that if I wanted to be on the Do Not Call registry I should press 1. Ended call. It may have been a telemarketer trying to do the right thing while still annoying people but maybe pressing 1 would install some malware in my phone. Didn't want to find out the hard way.

They called my cell phone on 10/25/11 at 1:02 p.m.  They did not leave a message.

They called my cell phone on 7/11/11 at 5:55 p.m.  They did not leave a message.  I'm on the don't call list.

I did not answer when they called, but I called the number back. The message said to add your number if you wanted to be removed from their call list. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR NUMBER! I did and was sent a random text less than 2 minutes later advertising some cash loan website. SCAM! They also give you the option of speaking to a live representative but all that does is put you on hold for forever until you give up.

I keep getting calls from this company.  They keep pestering me.

How do you know it was a black person?? and why on earth does it even matter who hung up on you? Am i the only person that realized that mike from delaware is racist and has collection co's calling him???

This number called telling me my credit card was unpaid - since I've cancelled all my credit cards I knew this was a bogus number. Please be aware

I agree, who the heck cares the gender or race of these callers. An idiot is an idiot in all the rainbow colors.

Card Member Services.  Telemarketing company that "FISHES" for information on your credit card details ie: credit cards name & customer service number, amount owed, interest paid, partial credit card number. exp. date, payment history, etc.

This company has been calling me and harassing me for years. This company REFUSES to stop calling me after I have notified them dozens of times that I am on the Do Not Call Registry.

I called back the numbers that appears on my caller id, there is an automated voice message system where you can remove your number from their data-base (I have done that a dozen times and they continue to call) or you can hold for a live representative - you will hold forever, there is no live representative to speak with, you will stay on hold and listen to lovely music.

same here they just called me 9am on april 19 2012 and I heard dead air then it hung up... i called back and they said survey expired if i want to block from future surveys press 1 so i did but then it gave me a survey i called from a blocked number so i assume they won't have that number on file smh

I got a call from this number at 9:12am this morning while I was driving. I'm glad I didn't pull over to answer it after reading all the info from others who received calls from this number. I am also on a Do Not Call list so this is very annoying!
