called me also at 11:39 this morning. didnt answer, didnt leave a message. anyone???

I got a call from this number at 9:41 am on 10-15-11. A recording said it was cardholder services, and said there was not a problem with my account, if I wanted to get a lower interest rate, to press one. I pressed one, and a woman came on. She asked if I had more than $4000 in Visa or Mastercard. I said I did not, and she hung up. Obviously not from MY cardholder service, or they would have known how much I owe.

If they got your # from FB it's not their only source. I don't have my number or ANY personal info on FB and they called me.

Already made a comment, but just went onto donotcall.gov and you can register a complaint on that website.

I called back and the automated message said to press 1 to opt out. I did and it said to allow 72 hours for my number to be removed.

Just got a call from this number (10/17) at 1:07pm.  Nothing but dead air.

I keep receiving calls from this # and no message and when I try to call it back, the number goes thru and then hangs up

This number called me at 12:00 pm 10/17/11. It was unanswered but did not leave a message.

Everyone needs to go to donotcall.gov and file a complaint on this number.

Got a call, didn't answer, no message, read the messages in this website, and placed the number in my cell directory with the rest of the UNKNOWNS (set up with a "no ring" ringer).  :-)

Pestering me on both Do Not Call numbers - cell and landline

I got a call from this number last week from "Card Holder Services".  I don't have a credit card at the current time, so I KNEW it was a telemarketing scheme.  I pressed "1" to speak to an operator, she introduced herself briefly.  I told her "I don't know who you people are, or how you got this cell phone number, but you better quit calling my phone!"  She promptly hung up on me without a word.

They just autodialed me again today, and this time it hung up on me.  Somebody needs to get reported on!

Very annoying.

I have received several calls from this number but when I call back, it will not allow calls to go through.  It is card member services for Wells Fargo and Bank of America.  I do not have any credit cards through either and do not bank at these banks.  These people SUCK!

Once they called about a month ago telling me they can lower my interest to 6% and consider this my final warning. I'd always hang up. One time I picked up and when I pointed out 'My cards are closed, I have 2% interest, and what type of card services work for Mastercard and Visa?' They quickly hung up.

Today my phone rang 10 mins ago...I pressed one. 'Hi my name is Matt did you press one to lower your interest? No...I pressed one so you can put me on the DNC list because you keep bothering me' He quickly hung up.

I called back and it said 'Thank you for calling back. Press one to not receive calls and be added to the DNC list. It takes 72 hours'.


Now what I can tell you guys is I'm a telemarketer for a different company (I was switched from the card activating dept to the sales dept) and it takes up to 30 days to be removed. Also you need to be on the Do not call list and the Cell phone do not call list to be successfully removed. And they have the resources to add you to both so hanging up is just so they can call you back. Also if you tell them to not call and they still do you can report them. Also most companies have various lines or products. So if you tell them to not call they only remove you from that product list/number and add you to another. Again I learned this at work...they are sneaky and find loopholes. Just an heads up.

called my bank who holds my credit card and they have no idea who these people who called are.  Do not give the Information!!!  They can not reduce your interest rate!!!   Waste there time and have fun.

I can't believe someone actually got threatened by these people. Creepy. I'm gonna have nightmares tonight :-P lol

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone.  It was funny because I do have a credit card that HAD a $100 limit that I let my kids use and they let it go over to $450 so I filed a claim on the $350 over.  I thought it was them calling me and it said something about lowering interest rates, so I hit 1 and she answers and says "so I see you called to talk about lowering your interest rates?" and I said "no, my whole account is under review and YOU called me" and I really thought it was my credit company and tried to reach out and she hung up on me in mid sentence.......guess they really didn't want to help ;)
