Called a few minutes ago. Gave my name and address (no harm there). Asked for other phone numbers in the house that I would like to have removed from their call list. Didn't give him any. I'll post when i get the DVDs. He did sound robotic. It was strange but harmless (i think).

called my cell phone & said they were from an organization Children First.

Who is calling from this number?

Missed a call from this number.  I know it is from NM, but who.  Is this a jail number?

This number called me today and i went through the call. It is for Kids first as the lady/man from kayla ohio stated. I gave them my info (what the hell, why not) and i will be getting these dvd's... i will review them and see if this is true and once i get them if this was true. If i don't post then its a real deal, if its a scam i will make sure to come back and post and warn you guys.

Called at 3:10pm. Picked it up out of curiosity and gave me a spiel about kids first. Actually listened to it, and then lost signal. Overall rather annoyed with myself for even picking up the phone.

I got the call at 3:16 pm today from 505-247-1942. Called back and it was busy. I'm on the "do not call" list as well.

Make sure you tell telemarketers that you don't want them to call you. I had the telemarketers for the Indiana State Police call me three times. I asked to be put on their list not to be called back and asked how many times they planned to call me. I was told everyone was to be called eight times. I talked to them each time they called. I guess they figured they'd harass me until I agreed. Unfortunately for them, I plan to never donate to them again because of these tactics.

Called my cell phone but did not answer. Left no message. I am on a state and national do not call list so it must be random.

called at 8:30 am while I was taking a [***].  I answered and the guy asked if I could buy a couple child slaves from kids first.  He hung up and I said what the helio!  It's crazy man...

This is calling my phone. I have not heard of this number before. It doesn't give me a time when it called it was a missed call. When called back it rang busy. How do we get this number to stop calling me?

I remember hearing about a phone scam myself. Except this phone scam was if you answered your phone they were able to extract information and then use your number, either by selling it or using it for long distance calls. Rule of thumb, don't answer a number you don't know and if they don't leave a message don't call back, delete the number.

got the call, thought it was a computer instead of a person.  he transfered me to his "manager" (at his request) because he said that he was real but speaking through a computer for "quality assurance."  the manager kind of laughed at this thought and assured me that "Justin" was sitting right next to her.  I told her to call right back so i could google this rather odd call which she said was being made from a land line in utah, although the area code suggests new mexico...  weird

i'm just curious.  the only thing that has changed about my cell phone use is that i purchased and attempted to use an AIRTEL DIRECT phonecard from CVS pharmacy the other day which required me to "register my phone" using a pin number..  has anyone else on this website been required to do that?

called this number back and spoke with a "Jesse" he said that since they were not selling anything they could call "any combination of numbers" I asked to have my number removed from the list. There were very long delays in his answers to my questions. He did not say what company he was calling from.

Call came to cell at 8:41 pm, did not leave message, called back get busy signal.  Cell is on the do not call list.

called at noon today...i answered and it sounded like an automated voice that said "hello" twice and hung up

An unsolicited call came to my wife's cell. It was data miners. That is what the pause is. Your call is recorded for any background they can get- your entertainment preferences. They wanted to send free kid's DVDs. Another way to get around the "Do Not Call List". Thanks VERIZON. I understand that Alltel has sold to Verizon. The telemarketer calls started after the deal was made. This is the third batch of unsolicited calls since I have cut the landline.
They tried to give me free movie tickets when I called to tell them to not call again. I was asked to repeat my request for them to not call again.

that is so strange this person called on my cell phone 8/5/08 but i was not around to answer it. i saw it on my caller id and it was an area code of 505 so i googled the number to see who it was who called, and got this site. Only very few people have my number and i NEVER put it on the internet or give it to anyone else other than the people i know, so how they got my number is a little creepy.
