Called 8-7-08 and said something about Kids First DVD

Anyone can call your number whether it is listed or not.  They just pick an area code and prefix and start down the line, 555-123-0001, 555-123-0002...
Legitimate telemarketers will not do this.

This number called my cell phone 8-7-08 @12:46 pm est. Is it a telemarketer?

They called my cell at 1:01 pm om 08/07/08. I had been warned earlier in the day not to answer any calls from that area code by my sister. They did not leave a message. I have found their number on several complaint sites.

Went to the web site and sent a message, you should all do the same. This is what I said........
"You will be sued if you do not quit calling cell phones in the United States, understand??? Already have 500 people on the class action law suit against you!"

Called me 8-6-08 at 9:24 am.  Said he was from Kids First.  I grouched at him "Don't call my cell phone" and I hung up.

Realized my cell wasn't on national donotcall list so I registered it.  If he calls again I am going to NM to kick his ass in person.

I think some of these comments are left by the scammers themselves... really "review movies" for "child literacy" why would I review a movie so a kid could learn o read? wouldn't I just buy a kid a book? Isnt a kid reading a book more helpful than me watching a movie for child literacy? IDK I'm just saying...

They have a website. www.kidsfirst.org. Complaints have been made in Indiana to the State Police and also to the Better Business Bureau due to them targeting elderly residents in a nursing facility, but this appears to be a coast-to-coast nuisance. The more people who report this company's activities, the sooner action will be taken to stop them.

Same, just called me and left no voice mail.  Just a missed call at 3:24pm

Got a call at 9 am...Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer..no message left.  This is the second time they have called my cell phone in a month.

Called me and Jesse or Jeffy sounded human but also like a computer.  I think it is automated

Just received the call from Jesse with "Kids First" - immediately said I was not interested and hung up,,,, I have my cell phone listed with "Do Not Call" I may need to file a complaint,,

I have had my cell phone on the do not call list for 2 yrs, so I reported them to the donotcall.gov site. I don't really care why they are calling; they are not in compliance with the do not call laws.
