Same thing... This number rang my cell phone about 5 times in the past week but I never answered coz i dont pick up unless im not absolutely sure who it is. anyhow, since they called so many times i googled the number, figuring i probably wouldnt find anything anyway, but surprise!! many websites along with this one have forums about this damn 514-843-5554. Maybe its a particular employee that just dials and doesnt talk because he's fed up with people saying no to him? hahaha. Still though, disapointing for a big name like the Gazette to be so harassing.

Someone keeps calling from this number, perhaps an unwanted solicitor, telemarketer, fund-raiser or other unwanted nuisance.

The Gazette is calling specifically if you are late with any payment.

If you're a week or two late the calls will start. If you use internet banking and pay through this method, they will eventually stop, it takes about 3 to 4 days....

Calls repeatedly no message

An unidentified caller rang me from this telephone number earlier this evening without leaving a message on the answering machine.

Today September 15, 2011. Yes, 2011!!! The phone rang. Number posted: 514-843-5554. I picked up, no one answered.

Has called at the same time every day for two weeks now... a few times someone has said something in French about the Gazette, then hangs up. Figures it's during my baby's nap time.

Called and told them calling this many times is harassment and if they contact me again, I'll consider legal action.

I called back at 4:57 and the message was that this number is a call centre for the Gazetter. It allows one to leave a message. I did!

J'ai reçu cet appel le matin à 10hrs35 le 27 octobre 2011 et ce n'est pas la première fois cela ce reproduits plusieurs fois en un mois!

Et je n'ai pas répondu à cet appel, je sais que la personne à l'appareil racroche.

Company calling is TELEZE (marketing) want to know if i' m interested in subscribing to THE GAZETTE .F_ _K OFF! If i want it i' ll call.GM or Toyota does not call me at home to ask if i need a car! Loblaw's does not call me at home to ask if i need groceries.So don't.call me at home for a freaking newspaper that you should be giving away for free with all the ads that are in it.The person hung up and i wasn't even finished my ranting,hope they call back bunch of [***]

The company's name is Teleze.
They are a call center for the Montreal Gazette newspaper.  They would have called you to see if you'd like to subscribe to the Gazette.  If you want to ask to be placed on their do not call list and can't get through at 514-843-5554, call them at one of their main phone numbers: 514-843-6501 or 514-843-9400

Or go to one of their office.  By doing that maybe they will get the message:

These f.k..ing calls are coming from Teleze. It's a Call Center for The Gazette.
You can call them back and ask them if they want to subscribe to The Gazette.
I'm sure if they will get few hundred calls they will get the message.

They keep calling at my business  always after hours. No one answers because we are closed. They never leave a message but by looking at our missed calls on our phone we see it was the same number, almost every single day.

this number has called every day this week, but i'm never home at that time.

Telemarketing leeches. Want to sell you the Gazette. LOL. Why pay for it when it's free on my iPad. These people are nuts. In this day and age why would one consider paying over $500 to subscibe to a newspaper. By the time you read the story, it's outdated! Spend $500 on an iPad and get news from all over the world, including locally, the instant it happens.

It's the Gazette ( well a company named Telez ) selling subscriptions to the Gazette.  I just called this number 514-843-6501 and asked to be removed from the calling list, they were nice about it and understood that I get it free online.
