They call continuously at all hours of the night.  We have 2 children whom are in the bed at 8.  I have one teething so sleep is very precious when I get it.  They called at 9:30 one night and 10:15 the next night, then one night called at 11:52.  Asked to speak to the supervisor today, the phone seemed to be passed around then the same guy that made the call came back and said he was the one on call.  I told him that we wished that they stop calling or that we would report to the BBB and our attorney for harrassment since they have been asked more than once to stop calling.  We will see whether or not they comply!

The jerk I talked to claimed to be from the Institute On Voter Attitudes, a survey outfit.  He was quite rude and aggressive.  I think this is fraudulent, since mainly he seemed to want a donation.

The Republican Party uses these people.

This #'s been calling me weekly. I never answer & they've never left a message, but I had no idea who it was so thanks for the info.

This person is on a watch list. He lives in Vienna, VA. On Lovers Ln. NW. He's using a cell phone calling across state lines which qualifies him for a federal charge. This is all we are allowed to give at this time. If you haven't called your local telephone provider's security, please do as soon as possible. If anyone else you know is being harassed by this number, have them contact their telephone service provider's security office. We are building a case and need all the help possible. You will not be required to give your name to us. All is private and confidential.

Calls multiple times a week.

I live in Montana...Not Kentucky, Colorado or Virginia.  I have received 11, yes, ELEVEN calls from the number with "Unknown Name" in the past 3, yes THREE days at ALL hours.  I do not answer, but why on earth does whoever it is deem someone in MT to be an appropriate subject for their harassment about issues in CO, VA and KY????  As well as inconsiderate, harassing, and pathetic, these people must be stupid as well...  Now that I know the background, I will answer, and give them a little taste of Montana's "we don't take kindly to bull-puckey" code of behavior...not that it'll do any good.  Thanks for the info from you all.

I live in Montana and having been getting calls from this # for months.

Just called me. After 3 times saying hello a heavily Indian language lady asked for me. I said it was me. She bableled something about education and that I requested how to further my education. I told her I have my BS and did not request anything about my education and she hung up

They called me with a political poll and got one of the candidates names wrong.

Called and clicked a couple of times then hung up. CID read: "VIRGINIA"

Called me this evening, I asked several times who they were, where were they calling from, who did they represent, He finally said Institute for Voter Attitudes, but wouldn't state where and for whom they compile the results. I would think if they are on the up & up they would be forthcoming with information.
I told him his answers were not satisfactory and I had never heard of them, I wasn't interested.

Call was received, didn't recognize the number, so didn't answer, and see there have beenother complaints about the same number.

I have received a call from this number 5 times in 2 days, at all hours. 1 of the 4 I answered, and no one spoke back to me...it was dead air.....Really tired of this harassment. I have a busy enough life without somebody dialing me like this....I too am on all the do not call lits available...

This number is calling my business cell phone, which is not listed on my voter reg. at least 2 times a day this last 2 weeks!

Very annoying!

I have been called by this number several times and I finally decided to answer. They identified themselves as representing the National Institute on Voter Attitudes. I asked a series of SIMPLE questions, none of which they were able to answer. I asked:
-Who will this information be made available to?
-What is the funding authority for this poll, or, who created it and is in charge of it?
-What database was my phone number discovered on?
-Etc etc.

Essentially, she kept saying she couldn't answer those questions or that she didn't have information. I decided to begin the poll and to look up information online while I did so. As soon as I saw other complaints online I immediately terminated the call.

I will be placing a complaint with the Iowa Attorney General's Office.

no on is there when I pick up, can't call to leave a message that I want off their list because THEIR MAIL BOX IS FULL, go figure.

It's a survey call, this company uses a computer to make the calls, they can't hang up without getting a manager to disconnect, usually takes about five minutes for them to do it,  they get paid per call keep asking them questions until they are able to disconnect, no need to be politically correct or watch your language, they called you! They get paid by the call, not by the hour. It can be lots of fun and a nice way to get even.
