Why the heck do you people call and dont answer when I pick up. They continue to call even though I am on the do not call registry.

These people at 571-308-7951 keep calling my cell phone and home phone and leave no message and when i answer there is nobody there! When i call back it says to leave a message and when it gets to that part it says there is no room in the mailbox. This is aggravating and disturbs my classes and i will be looking for a suit to appear against them soon for harrassment!

This number has called me 3 to 4 times every week for the past month and a half. I don't pick up because I never pick up for unknown numbers, and they never leave a message. I've tried texting them to find out who it was with no response. I'm getting pretty sick and tired of the calls. I'm glad I found this forum, however, because now I know it's probably something related to a survey and I can stop thinking that it's someone harassing me. Although, the survey people are getting very stalker-ish.
So for the record, survey people? I am not going to pick up. Ever. So stop calling.

The owner of this number: 571-308-7951 needs to have thier service terminated!  ANNOYING Telemarketing.  SCAM ARTISTS!!!

I receive calls weekly from this number. They will not give any information of who they are.

This number 571-308-7951 constantly calls all day long. tried to call them to ask them to stop, you get voice mail and then the mailbox is full. If anyone has the method to get them to stop calling, please post . thanks

I, myself, am on the DO NOT CALL list.....These people call 2-3 times a day and have been for 2 + weeks now.....I've asked them to take me off their list as I am NOT interested in anything they have to sell or whatever it is they are offereing.  Next time, I WILL NOT be nice about it.

Have gotten two phone calls from these people on my cell phone (which would make sense considering I don't have a landline to begin with)...i can somewhat understand the idea of these people being "exempt" from the Do Not Call list because of their "work" as a "political organization" (wink wink nudge nudge)...but I thought it was still a violation of federal law to call a cell phone # for this purpose.

If you have a cell phone like I do, might I suggest picking up the phone and answering as though your voice was a recording:

"Hello...the number you have called is connected to a mobile phone. You should be aware that in calling this number, you are in violation of state and federal telecommunications law. Please remove this number from your list immediately. Any future calls from this number will be reported to the Attorneys General of the State of Iowa (or whichever state you live in; mine is Iowa) and the United States of America, who will prosecute these violations to the fullest extent of the law. Thank you, and have a pleasant (or equally sarcastic-sounding positive adjective) day."

Even if it's not in violation of state OR federal law, they don't have to know that. Only YOU have to know that.

I am also on the "Do Not Call List". They have called me as much as 3-4 times a day. I m usually at work when they call. They are calling my CELL phone. They never leave a message. I try to return the call, but it goes to a "full mailbox". Today, they called and I was finally able to answer. She said she was doing a survey. She said asked if she could ask me 6 questions. The first was asking me if I was registered to vote, some were my political views, and the others were agree/ disagree to certain laws. The conversation was over.

I am from MT and I get a call from this number at least once a week. They call my cell phone. I have tried calling it back and the voicemail box is always full so I am unable to leave a msg to stop calling me. When they do call it rings just long enought o register on my caller id but not long enough to answer it. I really wish they would not stop calling me. It is very annoying.

These people have several #'s and have had verizon block 3 of the numbers so far. I'm recieving an average of 8 calls a day. I live in Md. I have an unlisted number and on the do not call registry. They don't care, they keep calling and won't stop. I've filed complaints with FCC and Attorney General's. I say we all chip in and hire a hit-man.. Maybe they'll get the message then.

This number has been calling me twice a week, for a while now.  The first time it happened, a lady wanted the last 4 of my social security number.  She was very aggressive.  I said no and hung up.  But they keep calling!

These idiots will not tell you who finances them nor who is behind them Are they supported by George Sorros or the THugs in Washington?.

I have been receiving calls 2 or 3x per day from this number. I am on a Do Not Call List. Lately I have been getting calls late at night from this number.

I got a call from this number while I was at work today (10/12) at 7:29 p.m. and I am from Iowa. I have no idea why I would get a call from that number when I don't even live in KY. It's a little weird but funny at the same time.

I have been called by this number at least 10 to 15 times and sometimes they call as late as 9:45pm like they did last night.  The phone calls continued this morning and we answered again and asked to be removed from their calling list.  These calls are extremely Irritating and if they continue now that we have asked to be removed from their list, I am going to the State Attorney Generals Office!

I received a call from this number at 8:30 p.m. but did not pick up; no message was left on my answering machine.  This is the first call I've received from this number (so far).  I'm on the Do Not Call registry.

Happy New Year to Me!  Received a call 1-3-2011 asking if my name was the person they were talking to.  I said yes.  An angry and rude woman said "This is Mrs. Hatcher.  I am taking a survey." Then she hung up on
me..
 I see that many of you noted that they are flying under the radar with the name Institute on Voter Attitudes.  I called the 571-308-7951 number that has harrassed so many of you in so many states and learned 'the extension' is not available and to leave a message.
 I immediately called AT&T and asked what to do.  I was told to google the number to determine what they were about.
 I don't believe AT ALL that they are a survey company.  I believe they are the company that calls me several times a year saying, "This is Rachel" and instructing me to press a prompt number if I am interested in lowering my credit card rates.  When I speak to Rachel (I have spoken with a white 'Rachel', a black 'Rachel' a 'Rachel' from India and a Latino 'Rachel'.  They can never tell me what credit card they are talking about, but insist they can lower 'ALL' my rates...and then begin asking me credit card numbers and social security number.  (The next to last time I gave them all false info and numbers...they called and called back thinking they had got ONE number wrong perhaps...they were smelling the money, even one non-'Rachel' guy called!!!  My brother-in-law's mom had just got scammed out of $3,000 by phone maggots.)

You mean all the fine men who made 'a simple mistake' and didn't pay thousands in taxes, yet were given some of the highest positions in the land?  You think they maybe need some $ to pay their back taxes that regular citizens would go to prison for?  You think maybe they didn't get all the donations they needed from banks and Wall Street crooks to pay those back taxes and they want to survey you and get a donation for the needy to put these so honorable men in tax compliance?  No, I think it's their buddies...the bottom dwelling scum that scheme to seek out credit card data and social security numbers of the hardworking middle class... they are hiding under the banner of being a political survey organization to thieve the public...True Maggots!
