Just had correspondence with a Stella Joseph from this number.  She replied to a gumtree ad I had.  I did give her my paypal address but that is all.  Should I be worried.

I was just about to pay when i had this problem with the pick up, my pick up agent says i will need to pay for the pick up before they can schedule a pick up time, they charged me $950 for pick up and delivery and payments for pick up made through them is made to their corporate international headquarters in China and the payments is made through western union money transfer, i will add the $950 to the money i will send as soon as i have made the payments,i will need you to help me send the money to my pick up agent HQ in the China through western union money transfer, this can be done from any post office,there is always western union money transfer section in most post offices,i would have done it myself but as i am at sea and didn't bring my credit card aboard,.I will appreciate your help here and thanks for your understanding.

posted a few items on Gumtree and got a text message back asking me if the furniture was still available and to reply to an email address, that made me suspicious... sure enought the phone number was this one.  The email address is mujidatm@gmail.com

Had 2 ads on a farming website for farm equipment. Seemed genuine to start with, but would not answer specific questions regarding the equipment. Then advised me that he needed his courier fees paid... To an offshore account (in China) through Western Union.  Thats when the alarm bells started ringing.......

Not unless they have your verbal password to withdraw your cash at the bank, you have set up a verbal password on your account i hope and besides that the details would be pretty useless without a copy of your signature. The only way that could get at your cash is by purchasing goods online where they would give your account details to a company, shop etc. but hopefully they don't have your name and address and you should be alright but personally I would contact your bank ASAP and put a hold on your account until you feel safe and secure again. Mate, i've had these scum bags message me every time i advertise on Gumtree which has been 5 times in the last 2 months, beware of salooxy7@gmail.com  sharonhair001@yahoo.com and jamesharris042@hotmail.com
Same phone number, same parasites. It's a shame they don't pickup and answer as i'd buy a whistle and blow it as hard as could, from the bit of research i've done the number they use has been traced to somewhere in India. (typical)
