"Sent from: Thi Kim Im highly interested in renting your custo justo property, send me pictures of it directly to:xelbell@gmail.com or send me your emailadress so i can email u"

I too have had the same message from the same number. I have had 3 messages in about 18 hours replying to my car, with 3 different contac ft names in the message.  Be warned,  I contacted the Police and reported it and it is a Scammer trying to get your personal information.
If you recieve a message from this number please report to your local police immediately.

Glad I found this as we just had the same contact from 'Paul Datford' re a car we have advertised on Gumtree.  Told him sorry but no thanks after the warning lights went off from his return email.

What can this person actually Do? We are trying to sell a bike on Gumtree and got email and msg from Paul datford, we didnt know it was a scam so requested money through PayPal with his email. after reading this 2 hrs later I deleted PayPal straight away.

This fool continues his scam. Gumtree ad for our car. Agreed to a slightly lower price. Said he would pay via paypal or bank details. Pickup by a representative, etc etc etc.

Have been contacted by this Paul Datford after posting ad on gumtree for our ute. He says he will pay on paypal or wants your bank details. We were alerted by our mechanic who has also been contacted by him. Please anyone, DO NOT give this guy what he wants.

Received message from 61428465117 in relation to car advertised on cars guide.com.au asking to reply to email davpatrick30@gmail.com stated he is working offshore and wants car as a surprise for his son!!

received several sms msgs from this number wit htwo different names wanting to buy my car.
Two people, same number wnating to buy my car, what a coincidence!

Text message from same number but called "Emma Conlon" regarding furniture for sale on DoneDeal Ireland.
Came in middle of night.

Got 6 of these texts today so far...selling a car on Gumtree.

Definite scam attempt.

I have got same SMS and Email for Gumtree Ad. Suspected and searched for details and found out that it's scam.

I received a txt message on mobile from Juliana Julie asking if the Land Rover advertise on Gumtree has been sold. To which I replied no I have just advertised it. Then this person send me e-mail saying that she very much interested in buying the car and if I do better with price. I said yes and drop $200. She wrote I am cruse and would like the car to be delivered through her agent and she will pay the money through the paypal to my bank account. So send her the Bank account number which I seldom use it and did had few dollar in it.
Next time she wrote me that she need to pay the courier company and she does not have the credit card on her and she can not go Post office to send money to the agent in China because she is on cruse. The car was suppose to deliver to Darwin and need to pay AUD 960.  I got the e-mail from Paypal saying that Juliana has paid another $1000 and is locked in and waiting to paid to your account once they received the MCTN number and this money can not with with drawn by Juliana. Trust the Paypal I send the money via western Union. Now I came to know this was all scam. Please somebody help and let me what I can do to recover the money

I will be making use of a shipping company to have this picked up from your side and have it delivered. Further arrangements will be made with you in regards to the pick up once i have paid.
