Had an oil change done at Jiffy Lube on Saturday 2/21/09 and started getting calls from 616-980-2127 3 days later.  Fits right in with what others have stated in this discussion thread.

Just to clear some stuff up:

1.) A customer satisfaction survey is not telemarketing (sale of a product/service over the phone), so it is not covered by the national do-not-call list.
2.) If you don't want to get anymore calls from jiffy lube (or whoever) for a telephone survey, then all you have to do is tell the caller "No thank you, please remove me from your call list."  Giving "poor remarks," as one person said, will not stop them from calling you.  That is the point of a SATISFACTION SURVEY...to help improve a product or service!  Acting immaturely by yelling at the caller, hanging up, or simply not answering will not halt the calls either.
3.) You people who are saying you won't go back to jiffy lube because you got a call for a satisfaction survey...are absurd!  The way I see it, this is akin to saying "Well, since you called me to voice MY OPINION ON YOUR SERVICE, I won't come back there!"  Sheesh.  

For the record, I don't work for jiffy lube: in fact, I've never even been to one and I doubt I will ever go to one, as I perform all my own maintenance on my vehicles.  I used to give surveys similar to this one on the telephone, and people's ignorance and rudeness really were quite astonishing.

Got a call once a day on this one.  Never had an oil change at Jiffy Lube..got tires on my van last week.  But that was an independent place.  Oh..yes..I did get an oil change at this place..and air conditioner (freon) refill.  But not a Jiffy Lube.  Says  IO Data Corp too.

Irritating call..Doesn't leave a message..just listens for someone to pick up I guess.  WHO IS THIS?  WHAT DO THEY WANT?

My husband did in fact get an oil change in our car last week at Jiffy Lube. I do not mind receiving a satisfactory survey call but would appreciate a message left. It's really sad that I have to look up a number or company name online to find out what the call was for. We're both in the job market right now and it's disappointing when you find out the call isn't someone calling for a job interview.

It takes about 2 days after your Oil change for them to call...

Mine came in around 6:30pm

Got my oil changed two days ago, and now I find this number calling me in Canada.

I don't believe I'm going to jiffy lube again.

They have called me house many times after my brother got an oil change at Jiffy Lube, earlier this week. However, whenever I answer the phone, they never say anything. it is just silence, so I hang up.

More annoyance

They called, but we missed it. Someone left a message asking for my husband not realizing he was talking to our message machine then hung up.
We also got our oil changed a few days ago so I suppose that's where they got our number from.

Recieved a number of calls without any messages.  I did have 2 cars serviced at JIFFY LUBE a week ago.  From wahat I read it appears the calls are coming from them.

What's the big deal? A company that you did business with wants to know how your service is! Who cares. Just say it was however it was and hang up.

EIGHT calls today - yes, it's Jiffy Lube, had my oil changed there last week and now they're pestering me.   I'll never use Jiffy Lube again

If this is what Jiffy Lube does to their customers, then I think I've just stopped patronizing Jiffy Lube.  I didn't ask for these calls and wasn't told I would be called.  I'm on the no-call list.  They didn't get my permission.  They didn't leave a message.  I like the idea of giving a really bad response to the survey.  If enough of us do it, they'll either stop the surveys, or they'll REALLY improve their service.  Or simply lose all our business.

If you've never been to Jiffy Lube and don't mind getting called by a "customer satisfaction survey" marketer... or if you don't work for this company...   then what are you doing on this site, looking up this specific ph#...???

Anyone calling me on my cell phone with limited call time allowed per month, interrupting MY dinner with MY family...  is a telemarketer, unsolicited by me, uninvited by me, and unwelcome by me.  Any company employing such tactics is going to lose my business.  They have plenty of competition out there who will love to have my business.  You could never pay me enough money to want to be a telemarketer or any other "title" that requires cold-calling people.
