samething just happend too me they just called too speak to me and i got my oil change saturday.

Just had oil change last week as well and got called tonight at 5:32 pm PST.  Not exactly pleased about it since it is an unlisted number.  Wasn't expecting them to give it out.  Maybe I'll go back to my garage I was having the oil changes at.... grrr.

Oil change at jiffy lube then got calls from this number then went back to jiffy lube and had them update my info to no phone contact. maybe too lil' to late but i feel better now.

I received a call on 11/2/2010 about 6pm.  (616-980-2127) I answered they asked for me, I said yes and they hung up.  I also had been to Jiffy Lube 2 -3 days before.

Called Jiffy Lube's customer service number, 800 344-6933 and didn't reach a human, but left message telling them to have the marketing firm remove my number if they wanted me to keep trading with them.  I'll see if this works.  Please let Jiffy Lube know you don't like the practice either.

Recieved calls from this number and nothing on the other end. Coincedence that I was at  a Jiffy Lube just a few days ago?

WTF!!!

I'm in Illinois (suburb of Chicago). I have never been to Jiffy Lube until this past Friday since I did not have time to do it myself. Now I got a call from this number on my cellular. Look it up on Google and to my surprise I see other posts about being at Jiffy Lube.

Happy new year, I was at jiffy lube in Seattle area on 01/12/11 and received a call from 616-980-2127 on 01/17/11....

I went to Jiffy Lube and now am getting calls to cell phone to answer a survey.

Had missed call at 4:37PM from I/O Data Corp to participate in Jiffy Lube customer satisfaction survey.  Here's the main gripe from me though - I and my employees have used Jiffy Lube for years and last week they asked for my mobile phone # when my oil was changed.  I asked why and that the last thing I wanted was marketing calls on my bussiness mobile phone.  The employee said they were asked to have it in case of emergency, such as if I were to leave my car on the oil rack and forget the keys - then leave to go somewhere temporarily.  (said it actually happens alot)  The attendant said "oh no, we would never share your number - it's just a new safety thing".

I called the location and expressed my dissatisfaction and concern of all my employees now getting monthly calls from Jiffy Lube.  They went into their computer via my license plate number and deleted my phone number.   Hopefully this works, but I would imagine I/O Data now owns my information and would love to sell it to other companys.

I went to Jiffy Lube within a week, seems like that is the common thread with this number that called.

Just got a call from this number at friggin' 832pm! And I have never, ever been to Jiffy Lube! My husband changes my oil, so very annoying and to my cell to make it even worse! I ignored the call and went straight to google it! So glad I did! Thanks everyone!

must be Jiffy Lube.  Wife just went there last week.

I just got an oil change there as well...an absolute rip off.  I had to go back twice, so they could "top off" fluids they said they did on my service order.  Never again will i use Jiffy Lube.

Yep, just went to Jiffy Lube this weekend.  I don't understand why they think it is decent of them to keep calling without leaving a message.  Jiffy Lube needs to pay attention to this harassment.
