These people from AGI have been torturing us for a month!  I just called B of A and talked to four people.  Nobody knows what the hell is going at B of A, so I just cancelled my credit cards.

get a several times a week from AGI. sometimes they hang up when i answer adn sometimes they say calling on behalf of bank of america. i field a complaint with the do not call registry.

I am as po'd as everyone else, do they ever get any one to cooporate with them?  They call daily, thanks to caller I.D.  If I don't know them I just don't pick it up.  I have a list and they are definately on it.

Caller ID says AGI, I answer, a few seconds pass before anyone says anything, then they ask if I am (my name), I say yes and they just hung up.

Been getting calls at least once a day for the last week!  I never answer.  Says "unknown" or"Michigan" in the caller ID box.

I received a call tonight at 8:30 pm from this number. When I answered, they did not say anything, and then hung up. What's even more suspicious is that I get calls from another number as well(866 233 2773) also in the evenings, same time, same pattern, same scenario such as this one, just different numbers. Both of these numbers will call me late in the evening, early in the morning, or at lunch time and NEVER say anything. I would call them back to see who it is, but I'm thinking that this is exactly what they want so they can get my information on THEIR caller ID. It appears to be a computer generated call. I say this because of the timing and frequency, and because no one ever answers. They are annoying. I am on the donotcall registry and have been for a long time. Everytime they call me, I file a complaint. I do not buy anything on line, nor do I ever give my correct phone number to anyone because I don't like telemarketers. My phone number is also unlisted so they are probably just randomly dialing numbers and whoever answers, they note it and keep calling it. I don't know, just a thought. Nevertheless, I hate these people. They have no business calling this late in the evening.

I get calls from this number everyday. When I pick up the phone, no one says anything. I blocked my number and decided to call this number back. There was a recording and they claimed to be from Bank of America. Said if I wanted to be on their "do not call" list, to enter my 10 digit telephone number and they would remove me from their list. First of all, I am already on the national do not call registry. Why do I have to put myself on BOA list and give them my phone number....they are full of it.

When I answer the call and put the receiver next to my radio and let them listen to KLOVE, it seems to stop calls.  Got AGI frist time tonight.  We'll see.

I just started getting called from this number a few weeks ago. It also calls me several times a day from 4:00ish PM to around 8:00pm. Very annoying.

He has called me five times. Once, saying something about bank of America. I was at a party and hung up. He calls at different times of day. 9:26 am thru 8:13 pm. When he called on Tues. 10:26 am he asked if I was home. When I didnt recognize the voice or phone number I hung up. It really spooked me. My husband answered this evening at 6:09 pm. It took a few minutes but then a woman spoke to my husband. My husband told her she had the wrong number.
This doesnt sound like the normal practice for telemarketing company. I'm reporting them to FCC or whatever government agency regulates them.

This is a telemarketing technique where a machine makes phone calls and records the time of day when a person answers the phone.
This technique is used to determine the best time of day for a 'real' sales person to call back and get someone at home.

What you can do after answering, if you notice there is no one there, is to immediately start hitting your # button on the phone, 6 or 7 times, as quickly as possible. This confuses the machine that dialed the call and it kicks your number out of their system. Gosh, what a shame not to h ave your name in their system any longer!

Receive call daily. No message. Caller ID = Michigan.
Article in Greensburg (PA) Tribune-Review, Sunday 2/10/08 that charities and other non-profits and survey calls are operating from Michigan. A name in the article was Jim Graziano, president of Onset Marketing in Farmington Hills, Michigan, who said the Do Not Call list does not affect his business. His business is so good that he's adding staff.

caller said "hi my name is rebecca with bank of america and i wanted to thank you for paying your bills on time, with that we wanted to offer you a free credit report of all 3 credit reporting services.we will monitor your report daily for 30 days since identity theft is so high right now, and we will  notify you of any address changes or other information to your report. after the 30 days please call us and tell us you see no benefit of this report and we will cancel it. its $12.99 per month. so, we have your address in ---------? and I said, since you are my bank, you should already have my address and can you tell me my last charge? and she says" duh, hello, no i can't ! very rude.  I said you should already have that information, and I don't want to give that info out since you are supposed to be my bank. she said well then dont trust me, and hung up!

calls nearly every evening at 5:00 - must be on a timer of some sort.  Can't be important - never leaves message.

Receive several calls a day. AGI.  Last one 8:05pm.  When we have answered we get no response.  Very annoying.

I get calls almost daily with caller ID AGI and phone 616-980-4030.
I never answer and they never leave a message.

After 9 calls in the past few days, I just called them back, and was going to tear them a new one. Fortunately, a machine answered and said that they had a "special offer" from Bank of America. If I didn't want to learn about this "special offer", I could press one. So I did. Next, they said that if I wanted to be removed from their telemarketing list, I could enter my 10-digit phone number, starting with area code. So I did. They next told me that it would take 30 days to remove me from their list (BS), but I'm happy that it will happen eventually.

number keeps showing up on caller ID but they leave no message...they call 2-3 times per day.
