I get a call daily between Monday through Friday. I do not answer. Call switches to answer machine, and no message is left.

This number calls me repeatedly..it is out of control....

I am recieving calls from AGI daily. They will not leave a message so I will not answer

I picked the phone up once and a person came on and really just couldn't talk.  So, I hung up....

This number calls my house day and night.  I want it stopped but don't know how.  They never leave a message.  I picked up the phone once and know said anything for 2 mins.  So I hung up!

Who owns the number?

Getting multiple calls from this phone number and I want them to stop.  The last one wanted to talk to me by name and then hung up.  No message on any of the calls.  This is BS.  I want them to stop.  If I wanted to talk to them I would call them.

Called and identified themselves as Bank of America. When I asked them who they really represented they answered BOA 3 times until they said that they had permission from BOA and I hung up.

They referred to my credit card account....help

First time I received a call from this number. But after reading the posts here, I certainly hope it's not BOA, yet again looking for this David guy. They seem to have endless access to different numbers with different caller id names.

Someone called asking for a friend of ours, who doesn't live here, but wouldn't leave a name, co name, or # for her to call back.

Received two calls as above this week, and worked briefly for BoA.  

The calls are from automated-dialers for their identity theft products which are on each associate's monthly quota there.  Called back and added my # to the "do not call" list, effective in 30 days.  

If you had a credit card with a major bank in the past 25 years frequently it was purchased by MBNA, grandfathered into their portfolio, then they were purchased by and became BoA in 2006.  If you have an account, even one that's dormant or you forgot about from a different bank or store, they can call you legally as their "customer".  

Once you add your number to the do not call list and 30 days have passed by, if they call again you can certainly report them to your state's Attorney General as well as the new federal conglomerate announced last week which displaces among new federal offices what once was regulated on the advice of the OCC.  

Skip BBB.  Bad businesses simply respond to your claim--yes or no--and are considered "compliant" with BBB, no actual restitution there, just decal advertising at its worst.  

They won't call.  I believe each occurrence is worth thousands of dollars in fees to the bank from the Fed.

"R":  Did calling the number back work?  Or are you getting more annoying calls?  From what I understand, it takes 30 days to become effectively removed from their contact list.

We get calls from a company one to two times a day.  The first few times, they would just ask for my daughter. She did answer one day and asked them to take her off their call list.  They said that would take 30 days, and until then they would continue to call.  Now they call, and if you answer the phone they just hang up.

The only phone I have is Skype on my computer and I have started to get phone calls from this number EVERY DAY! It shows up on the "history" but they never leave a message.

This company calls me everyday even after I have told them (3 times that I know of) I do NOT want the free credit reoprt.

Same as above stories. I was very specific with the woman on the phone that I did not want services from AGI. She said if I had any questions I could call 866-433-3481. This is similar (except for last digit) to the BofA number listed on their website. I did not bother to call BofA. I noticed when I visited the BofA website for privacy assist that there is no convenient way to send them any feedback about this problem. They should go after "AGI" with a vengeance. The woman read me a prepared script and wanted to sign me up "for free" for thirty days. What I don't understand is whether they have my credit card number and could sign me up anyway, or do anything else they wanted with it.

I actually called the number they gave me, 866-433-3481, using a fake name. They asked for all of my information, including name, address, SS#, and finally credit card number. I gave fake information for all of that as well. I asked if they already had the number, and they said they did not. When I hesitated, they told me any credit card number would be fine, including American Express or Mastercard. That's when I knew that this was a scam, and I hung up.

I've been getting these calls, too! At least one a day for the past month from 616-980-4130, caller is AGI. I never answer. Will put myuself on the "do not call list" ASAP.

I purchased the Tobi Steamer Off thier Infomercial in May 2008.  And I have realized that the reason why i have been bombarded with telemarketer calls getting my information from a "thier marketing partners".  They call me by my nickname and the only business i have done using that name is TOBI.  contacted tobi and supposly they put me on a do not call list.
