- JPReceived caller ID'd call on 8/6/08 6.26 pm, no message left.
- danthis number came up not with "kantar ops" but with msc-vip5.nj.itx on my caller id . did not answer, and left no message.
- SydI have recvd many calls from Kantar OPS, usually nobody is there when I answer, however, tonight was different...the lady began to tell me something about research and a survey...when I kindly asked her to take my name off of their list she said NO, and hung up!!!! That is what prompted me to do some "research" of my own!

No message and nobody will talk on the other end. - Joe BobI've received several calls from 630-505-3008, which my caller ID lists as Kantar Ops. I never accept they phone call and they never leave a mssage. Like many others on this forum, I also am on the National Do Not Call List and do not appreciate getting these calls. I filed a complaint against them with the FTC, so hopefully there will be some enforcement action against this annoying company.

- SuzieThese scammers are phishing for personal information under the guise of conducting a survey. Do not fall for it!
Google up the Jamaican phone scam for a real scare. I have been receiving calls that have turned to death threats from "Kingston, CB" some from "private caller" All part of the Jamaican scam.
The scary part, they already had my address and husbands name. DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION PEOPLE. YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO IS GOING TO GET ACCESS TO IT! - SuzieI forgot to mention the reason I think these calls are related is because of the proximity of one to another. For over a year now, off and on I have been getting them.
The Jamaican scammers start up with their crap about 2.5 million dollars and a new mercedes being held for me by "ups" and could I please pay the accumulated storage fees so can be delivered.
Usually the next day I get a telemarketing survey from "kantor ops" phishing for personal information which they do not get. It is a crazy world we are living in. - Austin, TXReceived a phone call from the company, I am at a Dental office. The lady asked if she could speak to an office manager and when I asked what it was regarding, she replied she was conducting a survey so I asked her to take us off her calling list and she replied with a "NO, we will not because it is for a survey," and then hung up!!

- StacieI received three calls from this number, on 3 consecutive days. The caller ID read: Kantar Ops. I did some research and found their web site. I sent an email to their general mailbox respectfully requesting that they remove my phone number from their calling rotation. I received this note a day or so later:
Dear Ms. *****,
I am writing to apologize for any inconvenience our call might have created. We understand and respect your decision not to participate in our survey.
Although Kantar Operations does not maintain an internal database for "do not call" requests, we submit such requests to our sample suppliers who maintain "do not call" databases. Rest assured we will submit your telephone number, (818-***-****), to our telephone sample providers to place you on their "do not call" database.
Kantar Operations is an opinion research organization and abides by all federal and state regulations including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act's "do not call" legislation. Although survey research companies are not the intended target of most federal and state legislation, we absolutely respect the privacy of our respondents and do everything possible to respect their wishes with regards to future contact.
Again, please accept our apologies and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
Sincerely,
Chris Dover

- LarryYou can find anything on google! ;)
I have received several calls from this number the last few weeks. Thanks for everyone confirming who is on the other end of the calls.
I have a fixed number of minutes in my life, and I don't intend to spend 30 of them answering random questions for a bunch of clowns. Some surveys are useful, I doubt these are. - JWReported to National Do Not Call Registry www.donotcall.gov

- T. CraigI called the number back and listened to their pre-recorded message. At the end, I pressed 1 to have my number deleted. We'll see if it works. If you press 2 you can leave them a message. It appears to be a consumer opinion marketing survey, and they recommend visiting their web-site for more info.
- MaxCall almost every day including weekend.
- Lauriethey need to STOP calling me immediatly.
- sahmI found the name Kantar Ops and looked them up online. They do market research. I found an email address and requested to be removed from their calling list and I got a very pollite email back that said they were very sorry and that they would remove me from their calls as well as others who work in conjunction with their company. Hey, it was worth a shot and lets just see if it works. :-)

- RREWReceiving calls every couple of days from this number; no message is left. VERY ANNOYING. We are on a no call list already.
- mcteeThis number has shown up twice on my caller ID. I do not answer calls from names/numbers I don't recognize. I, too, am on both the National and State DO NOT CALL registries.
- Concerned CitizenThis number has started to call my home. I have two calls in two days. I wonder if the FBI is watching them. From what people are reporting I wonder if it isn't terrorists trying to get information on households in the US. It doesn't sound like people are being asked consistant questions. I think it would be easy for a terrorist cell to pose as a survey company to get information to use against the USA. What do you think?
