- PegCaller is calling about Safeway Employee Perks
- RDReceived a call here in Minneapolis from a man wanting to somehow arrange for my services (at a discounted rate - I'm a caterer) for the employees of a large hospital in the area. He was pleasant, not pushy, and I declined to pursue the conversation with him.
- CaliforniaSaid that she was calling because members of Sutter Health wanted to use a mortgage company exclusively for the next year, and that she wanted to speak with me. I am a mortgage broker in California, and the area code is for New York. It sounded wierd from the beginning because no one just calls and asks about mortgages for a whole section of a corporation unless they were referred by someone which would be mentioned.
- Caller: Sutter Health
- KT of CTThis person is working for a company trying to charge you $995 to have the exclusive rights to offer your product to the employees of said company. They also state they will put your logo on the employee benefit card. They seem to mention all the good things and at the end say btw do you have any questions? Then they tell you the pricing for it. I will give you an example. For me the man said for the company he represented had 3,000 employees I would be the only person of my type of business to be listed. Later I found out it would be $995 then he wanted to sell me the logo on the membership card that would be $4,000 and if I wanted my logo on the back shared with 3 other people it would be $2,500.
- JFDCalled regarding my resume. The call disconnected and I have been unable to get thru - constantly busy. This is a scam?
- MusicianGuy called saying he wanted a quality services company to serve the St Cloud school distric employees. The number id is different than the area code number to call back. I declined to call for more info.
- Caller: Perks unlimited?
- SETOffered "exclusivity" for my company to handle all of the travel needs for employees of a large area hospital. Googled number while he was talking... hung up. He called back and left a message with the toll free number of 800-727 3757. Perk This.
- Q of MDReceived a message today from Brad Karas, wanting a call back concerning doing DJ work for employees at Frederick Memorial Hospital. The call back number that he gave was 800-727-3757 X129, but the caller ID said Perks Unlimited. We have not called back yet, but wanted to get feedback from others!
- Caller: Perks Unlimited
- LouA guy named Scott called about us providing employee meals at our restaurant; insisted on a meeting with owner. Said that " the employees of George Mason are looking for a place to have all their meals ". This statement was so stupid that we had no comment. They left another number to call back: the number is 1-800-727-3757 X 154. This joker was named Scott, suposedly
- Caller: Perks Unlimited
- Matthew MathisI got a similar call stating that the Dallas Independent School District was looking for a company to provide home theaters to their employees at a discounted rate. We talked for 10 minutes and I gave him some info on my company. I knew that something did not sound right and I am thankful for the info on this page.
- Caller: unsure
- JayBeeSmelt a scam right away when I received a call from [631] 870-2182 claiming that they are looking for a photographer to refer employees of the Idaho Transportation Department to.
Don't fall for it, and report all calls.- Caller: Scammer
- RHardyCalled from New York stating he was representing the Dallas Independant School District and was looking to find one photographer to provide special pricing to the District's employees.

http://itd.idaho.gov/Transporter/2008/050908_Trans/050908_EmpApprec.html - gettingsmarterI got a call from number but she, Catrina, said to call her back at 1-800-727-3757
Ext.114. I was unavailable at the time so that was the message left. They wanted me to provide Power washing and painting for Brookhaven labs, for their employees in the pat/Med school district of Long Island NY. It sounded too good to be true, I Google right away and look. It is a scam Jaybee, so what they are on a website the money you give may not amount to much or any business , don't be so naive or are you in on it..- Caller: Brookhaven Labs
- NancyThese other comments are very interesting. I have received repeated calls from 631-870-2182 who wants to offer Perks cards to our employees. Callback number the same 1-800 as others have provided here. I even made the mistake of giving the caller my e-mail address and he sent details, but quite honestly, it looked like more trouble than what it is worth.
I was always wondering how the program works, and after reading these comments, now I know. So... the local business pays Perks cards a tidy sum for the 'privilege' of providing its products and services to card holders for a discount? Have I got that right? Great deal for the Perks card holders, but I suspect not so good for the business, who is out (1) the fee and (2) the difference between full and discounted price.
My company is trying to enhance its reputation with local businesses (who are also our customers). Sorry Joel, but I don't want our company name to be associated with this kind of scheme. - GingerMessage left from Shawn said he was calling from the Cleveland Police Dept. looking for a place that the employees could call when they needed their carpets cleaned...
- Penas AccountingReceived a call from Sean Vitinia claiming that he was gonna give us 3,000 employess for North Shore Hospital if we can give them a special discount. Called @ 3/26/2009.
- StevenI worked for Perks Card. It is a total scam. They tell the people over the telephone that the employees want a particular category(DJ,Restaurant etc). The employees don't want it. Most of the companies that do pay for it for a year do not renew because they are not getting any business.
DO NOT USE PERKS CARDS!!!!
If you have any other questions please feel free to ask away. - perks card scam?| 3 repliesI am totally confused. Is this a scam or not? We sent them money after checking it out. We got a call and we called the BBB to varify their phone number, company address and complaints. They had only 6 complaints in 8 years and there were all resolved. We also called the school district and they confirmed they were working with this Perks company. Do you have proof it is a scam?
