- BUSINESS OWNER| 4 repliesYOU GUYS ARE VERY VERY VERY WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!! PERKSCARD IS NOT A SCAM. IN FACT, I INVESTED $1,245.00 INTO THIS AND NOT ONLY DID I RECEIVE MY INVESTEMENT BACK, IT TURNED INTO $37,956.00 TO THE PENNY TO THE DATE. I OWN A DAY SPA / MASSAGE STUDIO AND I RUN A REMODLEING COMPANY ON THE SIDE.
THIS IS NOT A SCAM AND I WOULD RECCOMEND IT TO ANYONE LOOKING TO INCREASE THEIR BUSINESS.
I WAS PART OF THE NORTH CAROLINA STATE PROGRAM AND IT DEFINITLY PAID OFF. I SAW PEOPLE COMING ALL THE TIME AND SHOWING THEIR PERKSCARDS.
DEFINITLY A GREAT INVESTMENT.- Caller: PERKSCARD
- Ed Julianius replies to BUSINESS OWNERI agree with "BUSINESS OWNER" I also profitted from PerksCard. I have an auto repair shop in Boston and I marketed to my local hospital.
Not only did I receive my $995 back, I made WELL OVER that. January 21st 2009 a man came in from the administrative department at the hospital and showed his Perkscard. I think the name of the hospital was on the bottom of the card. MY OPINION = NOT A SCAM AT ALL.
I think I offered 20% off parts and 10% off labor and $21.99 oil changes for ALL employees at the hospital.
I ALSO saw Starbucks employees come in and they showed their cards as well. I was surprised to see starbucks employees come in but like everyone else i have one on every corner in Boston.
I'm HAPPY with the results and would consider advertising again with them. THIS IS REAL AND THEY ARE REAL. THEY DO WHAT THEY SAY AND I MADE A LOT OF MONEY BACK FROM THIS INVESTMENT. - Frances GiorD@@@@This isn't a scam. I called the local hospital and they cerified the relationship with perkscard. I Really don't think STARBUCKS would allow a company like perkscard to use their name nationwide if they were a scam. Augeo is an Affinity company and they are REAL. PerksCard is REAL=NOT A SCAM and AUGEO is NOT A SCAM. I am doing this again this year with my hospital because it paid off for me.
I CALLED customer service and they were very nice people. They told me how to register my card as a business owner and thre process is SIMPLE and I SAVE also. They have LOTS of NATIONAL savings I can use nationwide as a business OWNERS WE CAN ALL SAVE RIGHT ?
USE THE PERKSCARD = I DO = AND I SAVE A HECK OF A LOT OF MONEY. REPLY WITH QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. - DerekRetailOwner| 1 replyi like perks card. When I first got my card I used it at a retail store here in Washington and was happy to get 20% OFF my bill when asked if they accepted it. Heck! If i can save 20% WHY NOT USE IT ??
I LOVE SAVING MONEY- Caller: PERKS

- concerned customerI LIKE Perks. I have zero complaints. The sales rep was very NICE and they walked me through how my iformation would appear on a " sample page " so i took a shot at it. I have been a vendor for 6 months and 5 days and I saw 57 new customers. I made back my 1095 investment.
SO FAR SO GOOD

- craigMy company has recieved several calls from a similar number, from an individual named Nick representing PerksCard (www.perkscard.com) which is also a subsidiary of Augeo Affinity Marketing, Inc. I was tasked with pursuinig this.
Nick was pitching their service to our company, where we would distribute "Perks" cards to our employees (~2800 people), which when presented at local businesses and national franchises, would get discounts. Nowhere in their presentation or contract does it states a slection process of limiting which vendors are listed, just that they are tons of local and national business and we could even request Perks to look into adding ones not part of their network. This comes with no cost to our company; however, part of ther contract states:
"In order to advertise discounts available to COMPANY NAME employees, COMPANY NAME agrees that “Perks” has the right sell space to pariticaptint local business on all printed PerksCard and on www.perkscard.com the funds from which may be received in thre form of commission and as payment-in-full for all production costs and services offered."
"The undersigned agrees to the use of the COMPANY NAME for press releases during the term of agreement.”
It appears from my research, that "Perks" targets very large reputable companies (like my own and I've seen Northrop Grumman on other sites like this), with their service for no cost. They then use these company's names in their sales pitch to vendors, in an attempt to legitimize their company, and to also have "proof" that there is a sizeable audience that will see the vendors name. Their dealing with vendors does not seem as nice as their delaings with the name brand companies which I am not surprised by how pushy they were with us in getting a response back to them. From what I've read online they withhold costs, and will lie by claiming they will be the only one listed for their service.
All in all, there is enough negative information on about this company that I would suggest people do enough research before agreeing to anything.- Caller: PerksCard

- Minnie Mouse replies to Rob In ColoradoI am willing to bet that they don't have anyone who would resign with them! 100% turn down rate on past emeployers who got sucked into buying this crap. The jok is that no one would ever use their card. The business that are called to give something too their workers finds out real quick they are being scamed also/
- X employee who was tired hearing the Peo replies to BUSINESS OWNERI do nopt believe you. What desk to you sit at in Perkscard. U are being told to reply like this. Let me know your company and Ill call and follow up with you myself. You are lying i know it and so do you.The rate of your company makinmg back your inmvestment. Is a joke. At perkscard we could never get someone to renew. If you didn't get hooked the first time around they called somone else. Ask them for a reference, a re sign up company. Here is their rerply to the potional buyer I do not know why you would want a reference from a Jewerely store and how that would help you. Since you are a lock smith. They find ways to back track yoiur question and then go forward in their pitch and trust me this is a sales pitc with no win situation for your company. Or better yet tell them to let you do it for free and when all thr ones come you can talk about it. Fast talkin salespeople with their main goal to make you spend money as quxik as the can. After every sale they ring a bell. Protect yourself from the Scam just hang up
- Scambuster| 1 replyThis company claims they work for many industries and has a good reputation. To me they seem fraudulent. First they called me and wasted almost an hour of my time on the phone saying they will sell my biz to two Boston hospitals with 8000 clients. Now get this! After hyping me up for almost an hour all of a sudden it gets down to the nitty gritty. The fee? $2000.00. For what??? Two newsletters a year and my name listed on a company list.
Now, ok, maybe $2000 would be worth it...but being a smart businesswoman I ask for references. Now, wouldn't you think any company worth their weight would have references???
The first thing they did when I asked for some was to hem and haw and say it is too late for me as they found someone else to take my spot.
When I pushed them further saying I may want to advertise in the future they sent me a few references that amounted to zero. Out of four references two of them had never heard of Perkscards, one of them was impossible to find, and the one woman i did get a hold of said it didn't work and they would never do it again.
I wrote back politely asking them for more recent references and after at least three attempts of me asking they never wrote back. Now, who would run a company like this??
I've seen companies like this as I have been in biz a very very long time. What they do is prey on the ignorant and unexperienced.
Ok, so they say that is not true?
Then I say..."Step up to the plate" Let's see the references I asked for?- Caller: Perkscard

- SNHI can't believe that I almost fell for this. You're right they are not pushy. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!! ASKED ME FOR 2500.00 OR THE OTHER PACKAGE WHICH IS 995.00. HIT THE ROAD JACK, I'M NOT FALLING FOR THIS.

"I am working with the medical employees of Nemours Childrens Hospital located in Wilmington, Delaware. I am looking for aresidental property management company that some of the employees & families can go to and rent apartments and save money. You will be featured in newsletters, updates and on the private web page we are designing for them. If you can offer a discount/incentive & want to work with these employees please contact me ASAP."- Caller: PerksCard
- AnonymousI worked there and quit because I felt terrible stealing money from these small businesses that I knew would never see a return. The sales people are given a 5 page script to read to the business owners to gain their trust and then ask them for 995. There are a bunch of pages of objections posted in front of everyones desk so they can quickly throw out a rebuttle to the business owners. They even try to pass their name off as "Augeo Marketing" who is their parent company in Minnesota cause they know PerksCard has an AWFUL reputation. The employees of these large companies DID NOT request any type of service! PERKSCARD WILL TAKE ANYONES MONEY! It doesnt matter if you offer a 0% discount or if your shop is located 5000 miles away from the large company where the employees are. If they call you.. HANG UP! It's like a sweatshop in that office... they have 3 meetings a day with the manager standing on a desk telling everyone they need to get excited and start closing deals and to stick to the script and "MOTION CREATES EMOTION!" Its all CRAP. If you tell them your husband has cancer and you cant afford 995 dollars right now they will tell you to give them 795, if that doesnt work they will say 695. They have no sympathy for the poor, they just want to be rich. Ever see the movie Boiler Room? Yeah.. they even played clips of that movie during meetings. They openly compare themselves to that movie. And what happens in the end? The FBI takes them down.
PerksCard is CRAP! Save yourself and your money and hang up the phone!- Caller: PerksCard

- Regatta Constuction replies to perks card scam?I have signed up with Perks Cards as a contractor who was told we would have exclusive exposure to 3,000 union members around the North Shore as a discount was offered, (reasonable). I just recieved the cards for my employees, however, to date, (only a month), I have not recieved one single call. On the other hand, Service Magic, (which also sounded like a scam), has provided consistant leads for my area for much less money and I can turn the leads "on or off" based on need. I'd like to think the Perks Cards are for real, but time will tell. I do know one thing; I doubt any of these negative remarks actually followed up and called folks like me who have signed up before they slammed their reputation. As a business owner I know how one bad apple can loose you a ton of business in this day of the internet. Everything you read isn't always true.

- PERKSHELLThere are places in hell for the kind of people who work at perkscard. They make a living ripping off people and doing everything they can to sell a program they know will not work. I worked there and I dont know how they sleep at night. They call desperate small businesses and practically force them to hand their credit card number over. The more you say no, the more scripted responses you will get. Everyone has the objection sheets in front of them, ready with a rebuttle for all negative responses.
Save yourself the aggravation and save your money! Tell them to screw off if they call you- Call type: Telemarketer
