I'm a photographer.  THey called my cell (which I never pick up if it's a number I don't know).  Left a message about some group looking for a photographer to do family portraits, even "Event" photography.

Asked to call back a 1 800 number.

Obviously I won't do that.  That's just dumb, but it also sounded like he was in a call center, lots of ambient noise.

I love how you guys all copy and paste the same message.  Like Craig's message back in October of 2010 is the same as Frank's message for Feb 2011.  You guys really need to get a life.  All these are is disgruntled employees going off on a company they didn't like.  The BBB is there for a reason.  It is there to file credible greivances from real people.  Not un employed people sitting home in their boxers all day and writing slanderous comments.  Get a job!

Perks Card, aka Augeo Affinity Marketing, is a SCAM. Do not allow your business to be persuaded by them. They have a very suave script and the telemarketers are super smooth. Don't fall into they're trap!

unfortunately, i am embarrassed to admit that i worked for perks for a short period of time. what a load of crap this place is. i never wanted to wake up in the mornings because i HATED going into work and taking money from small businesses. i wasn't very good at my job there because i wished with every call that no one would pick up. they base your job on your sales and phone times so the sales person will keep you on the phone for as long as you will let them. they are taught to not be pushy, so don't mistake they're sweet woes for legitimacy. and there is a long script plastered all over their cubical with a rebuttal to every objection that you may have. the owner is a typical new york grease ball and all the telemarketers are ex-brokers and ex-stock salesmen. my heart is too sweet for this field and i couldn't bare it any longer. my apologies go out to the few businesses that i sucked into this program. if you are a small business considering joining perks card, you're doing the right thing by researching, it's your decision but take my advise: it's a waste of time, money, and effort.

Same thing. Just got a call from a lady in NY saying she worked for Generations Plus/Northern Manhattan, when it turns out she works for Augeo Affinity Marketing, who sells the Perks Card. It's not worth the investment if they aren't able to promise any guarantee of a ROI...And the website itself made me suspicious.

They called me today  telling me that they're representing the Sachem school district and how they were looking for a weight loss program and wanted to know how involved I get with my patients and how I could really help them to achieve their goals. I spent an hour on the phone answering all their questions on to get hit with, "If you wish to be our exclusive weight loss center it will cost you $1500.00 and if you want to be on our card it will cost you $5000.00."  Are you F*&king kidding me? I just discounted my services 35% with the understanding that I was helping out teachers who couldn't afford my services normally and you want $5000.00 from me to be on a card that will be thrown away and never used and no guarantee that not even ONE person will come. I graduated from Med school with a 3.96 GPA for a reason.  Im not an idiot!  STAY AWAY!   SCAM!!!!!

The Better Business Bureau is a pay-for-play scam just like the scams Augeo Affinity Marketing is involved in.  To John above;  I have a job, in fact I own a business who employs 30 people.  Unfortunately, we have to be constantly bombarded by unsolicited phone calls from companies whose principals belong in jail in my opinion.  Play it safe, never do business with Augeo Affinity Marketing -OR- anyone who subscribes to their tactics by contracting them to do the slimy affinity programs.

I'm amazed that your business doesn't give us a name. I know you are someone who works for this underhanded company.
