This is from "Client Services". They called me twice now looking for my brother, who shares the same first & last name as I. Only difference is the middle name & SSN. On the first call,I asked which middle name were they looking for and they didn't know. I then asked which SSN were they looking for. After telling me my bro's SSN (which I find very disturbing, because I could have been anybody!), I told them that I wasn't the person they were looking for & I would relay the message to my brother.

They still call me to this day & I don't answer them.

They have been calling here for days, looking for someone who does not live here, and to my knowledge never has.  I keep explaining this, and they keep repeating the line, "They put this number down as contact information."  That's great, but it isn't true.  I finally instructed thatm to stop calling, and remove my number from any calling list they had, and/or correct whatever file information they had.  They said they would...we will see.

I've filed two complaints with the FTC and the BBB just to have a record of the problem.

These scum bags say: "This is client services. We were hired to find you. Is this your current address?" They are actually some collection agency in violation of the fair Debt collection Practices Act for not indicating they are a collection agencey. Collection tactics are becoming more aggressive as the economy begins its last gasp in 2010. The bailout bubble is crumbling in europe and the student loan bubble is the next domino to crash. For example, Goldman Sachs invested in Education Loan Services' (TERI) securitizer First Marblehead, right before TERI filed for bankruptcy in the Spring of 2008. Goldman Sachs packaged up the garbage and sold it to idiot investors. get ready for the 2010 crash.

I don't know who they are, and I really don't care.  I just set my droid phone's call blacklist blocking app and blacklist/block it.  If they change the number and I don't know who it is, I repeat it and do the same thing as before.  The blocking hangs up on them without ringing, answering and going to voice mail. Never again am I getting stupid phone calls from debt collectors again. They tire of it after awhile and I just go in and clean out the blacklisted history.    If you aren't in my contacts list, your call will not be answered and you will get an auto hangup.  Half the time I don't even realize they call, unless I check the history.  Absolutely painless.

I bought a prepaid phone for emergency purposes over a year ago, but never activated it.

Yesterday, my regular cellphone broke, and an hour after I activated it, I got the same number. I did not answer it because nobody knows I have it; only family members will know it, and I'm not wasting any of my prepaid minutes to find out.

Thank goodness there are web sites like this!

They robo-called me twice. I called back the same number, got connected to an agent. I told them they had the wrong number (they were looking for a "Sofia"), and they removed my number from their database. Being polite and courtious helps here if they get the wrong number.

Called here- ID shows number, and name as "UNKNOWN." .. Well, buddy, if you're "unknown," then so am I. Leave a message. Oh yeah, the message they left was ....... "click." If this was a reputable business, why wouldn't caller ID identify them? Oh that's right, because they aren't!

I had about 6 missed calls in a row. They finally left a message making it sound like this was a long lost relative. Except, we are from Hawaii and do not have any relatives in St. Louis. Sorry sister. The message was for my Dad who lives on a different island! They are [***]. They even called me like 10 times over a weeks time asking for my brother in law, again who lives on another island. No matter how many times I told them to stop calling me they still did. Wasting my minutes.

This annoying person keeps calling and I don't even know why.  Here I see complaints, but how about this-he calls and hangs up on us when we say "hello".  I phoned the number back to see who it was that keeps calling my house.  He answered "this is Jeff Allen".  I don't know anyone by this name and he has no excuse for his calls.

just as long as they can produce a signed reciept of every transaction you made with your credit card, they might win in court, but for them to produce 20 years worth of reciepts is highly unlikely
