Exactly the same happened to me - my daughter was playing with the phone, a Samsung Tocco Lite from Carphone Warehouse. She did get an option to buy the game but declined. Vodafone say a text was sent to mbiz on 82018 and a download from 700046033 was received - this apparently should be an unlock code IF we'd purchased the game. No text received and game still showing as a trial version.

I have requested a refund from mbiz using the advice above and eventually Vodafone also said they would refund it if I went to a Carphone Warehouse shop and showed that we did not have the full version of the game. They also suggested the only solution was to switch off the internet.
Samsung are uninterested and seem to think we are fair game - they said you cannot delete the games but I have anyway using the options provided.

They all (mbiz/Vodafone/Samsung) insist that you have to accept the terms and conditions and that the prices are made clear. This is simply not true.

my patience is running out with M-BIZ , keep contacting to get my daughters 4.50 back they took it twice, small amount but they are ripping off so many people, send emails everyday, have filled in a refund form twice and sent pictures of phone and game, trading standards will be my next move, these people need stopping or they will continue to con people,

Same thing happened to me. Bought my 13 year old daughter a Samsung Genio for xmas on Virgin Media, 2 days later she has been charged £4.50 after a text apparently sent to 82018 and one received from 700046033. We checked all of the sent and received texts on her phone and there is nothing showing for that day except other texts. Will contact Sybase365 as others have advised and se if we have any joy.

Yes, same story again I'm afraid. Bought Samsung Jet for my daughter yesterday on T Mobile contract.

She played a trial game and when she was offered the free version she exited the page which was the only thing she could do apart from opt to buy which she DID NOT DO.

Checked her bill online today and she has had the same fee as everyone else. £4.50 + the 10p text.

I have completed Mbiz refund form and e mailed a copy of the online bill and now wait with baited breath to see if I get a refund.

T Mobile were quite helpful. They told me who the charge was from and have put a block on further texts from companies of this nature so hopefully it can't happen again.

Samsung have alot to answer for putting these games on their software. I will be contacting them too.

    Hi there,

My Daughter has just a few weeks ago got a Sim Only deal throught T-Mobile, and Surprise Surprise a charge of £0.10p for a Txt Sent and £4.50 for a Received txt, which she NEVER send or requested. T-Mobile have now blocked this on her account so it shouldn't happen again.

they did explain it WAS a subscription service and gave me a Phone Number to call :

    It's a company called Casate on 0845 600 6105 - Mon - Thurs 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 4pm..

If you call them they should be able to explain exactly how it's happened..!! I'm phoning them in the morning to demand a Refund..!! Will let you all know how i get on..

    Hope this helps,

    Z...

Hi I got 3 messages from this number costing me a total of £9.08 and I tried contacting them on their uk number  020 7193 3283, when I spoke to one of them, I complained about getting unsolicited text from a service I never subscribed for. The customer services guy who spoke to me apologised for that, and offered to give me a full refund. In order to process this payment, he advised me to go on to their refund site at:

    www.mbiz-support.com/refund

I did just that and provided the needed evidence the money taken off my phone was fully refunded in 5 working days.

I am sure if you all do same, they will issue you are refund. In the event that they don't their address is at:

    M-Biz Support,
    PO BOX 1381,
    Kingston,
    KT1 9HY,
    UK
    020 7193 3283

You could write to them on that address and if after then they don't do anything, then you could go ahead and sue them for even a bigger amount, based on theft and inconveniences.

    Hope this helps everyone.

Have a wonderful day and remain blessed.
