So pleased to see that I am not alone in this M-biz scam. Have just opened a text messge from 80303 and have been charged £3.00 for a game I haven't ordered. The so called "customer care" email address doesn't even exist! At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!!!!

When I saw these messages going back to 2009 I expected to see some sort of solution to this scam but it seems these thieves are still getting away with exploiting kids, or rather their parents who pay the bills.  Outrageous.  My daughters friend was playing a game on her phone which seemed to trigger this.  No purchase or order was knowingly made...absolutely disgusting and should be banned.

all the companies involved are being protected by Ofcom and PhonepayPlus.

you do all realise the mobile networks are the ones debiting the children's accounts and pocketing 50% of the revenue before passing the rest on for the other crooks to share.

This is absolutely a frudulent company and i think every victim should take the pain to report them to ofcom or the relevant regulatory company. i am struggling to get my £37.06 back. this cant carry on. The annoying part of the story is that they charge you through your service provider which means they dont need your consent to take your money. The question is that why would they go through my service provider if they are geninue.

I totally agree that mbiz is a scam.  My son is 9 and was text an unlocking code.  Never used it but £4.50 was taken.  I tried calling them and using the refund form to get the money back and would you believe that all my attempts to email the photo's they want have bounced back undelivered.  I am still trying to get the money back from the pay and go sim.  There is no bill to even send them.

My 11 year old son has also been charged £4.50 from his O2 pay and go top up for a game he never activated from a samsung ch@t phone.another Mbiz ripoff.

Yup, Samsung phone and O2 pay and go sim!  How frustrating.  I'm still in dispute with Mbiz as they are asking me for screen shots of the game but of course I can't give them that as my son never unlocked the game either.  I'm not letting this go on principle.  I've emailed them again so will keep you posted.  Thanks for you post.

The emails have stopped and it would appear that I am not getting my money back.  It seems to be a problem with Samsung phones and where ever I can I will spread the word.  Thanks for everyone for their postings.  I realise I'm not the only parent who has been affected by a scam.

My daughter was also ripped off for £4.50. Opened a free game & was senr a text from 82018. She opened the txt. This triggered the charge. Not happy. I would like to know if this ammount will now dissapear from my account on a weekly\monthly basis? Any updates appreciated. Thanks

I deleted all the games so my son didn't get any more charges.  I have heard of others getting more than one charge but we only got the one.  I never did get the refund!

I have had the same experience, I have been charged twice for a game I didnt even want on my samsung tocco, I was charged £4.50 by M-biz games, and the was charged 2hours later another £4.50, I was fuming! I rang them up and the man over the phone said I had only been charged once, but I have had £9 credit took from my phone and two texts saying i had been charged,with unlocking codes, I took pictures of the texts on my phone with the times they were sent and e-mailed m-biz for a refund, But they replied and said I was charged only once for a brain challange game, which is [***] and i didnt even want it! i WAS charged twice!! They e-mailed and said i need to prove it with a billing statement, wtf?? I am Pay as you go!!! ARRRRGHHH, they are criminals.
