Marval & Associates (posing as Jacob & Associates) My attorney traced the number. Looking at a $1000 from these idiots. Once again they violated the Fair debt act by contacting me after being notified not to call, and once again threatened criminal charges.The best part is, I recorded the message he left and the name he used was the same as the owner of Marval. I have already filed complaint and have case numbers. My attorney will be contacting the these authorties to update the cases.

Nicole said she was from jacobs & Associates.   First of all there is no investigation of any sort being done on me, nor would there be reason to.  Where do they get these #'s?

I just got a call from some idiot called Doug Smith from Jacobs & Associates. I was told the same thing, that an investigation was being reported by the county where I live at.
They have been calling me all this week to provide them with my credit card, debit card or checking account number. I really don't trust them, what can I do?

A Mr. Duke has called my office REPEATEDLY over the past several weeks. I do not work in the office and can't just come to the phone. He told the SECRETARY, a third party, that he was an investigator for Jacob and Associates. He stated that he wanted me to make a formal statement for our local county court. He named the county. Another time he called and threatened to send "embarassing" papers to my place of employment. All of this he said to my secretary, not me! I had my attorney call him later that day and he "flipped out" and started screaming at my attorney and even called her "grandma" because of the sound of her voice. What a psycho!!! BEWARE! have filed paperwork with the FCC and other agencies.

I received a call from these jokers saying that it was an important legal matter for the county that I once lived at. I am not sure what he is talking about!! They even called my mother and said that they did not have my number. They haven't called back today, but I am waiting.......... If there is truly a legal issue with me, they will need to contact my attorney!!!!

today they called me and they were a law firm and they wnated to talk to me, gave my name, regarding a important legal matter. I spoke with the lasy and she said again they were a law firm and at the end of the converation she said she had recorded the conversation to use against my in my counties court. I called the number back and verified they are not a law firm. I fild a complaint with the FTC

I received a call last week from these people as well and Rosa, who is the lady that called me stated that she was calling me regarding an issue that had been filed by the county I live in and it was under investigation.  She asked that I or my attorney (which I don't have one) should call her to discuss the details involved.  She called me again on Monday evening and stated that she was from the pre-legal dept at her firm (Jacobs or Jacobson and Associates) and that they had made an attempt to contact me and that I or my attorney had until October 28 to call them before they rendered a decision.  What decision and on what matter?  I have not called her back and don't know whether I should or shouldn't.  I recall getting a call like this one about 3 months ago or so and I called them back and never got a call back from them until know.  Does anyone have any advise on what to do or any other input?

Ihave been called over and over the past 2 weeks and they said they were from Jacobson and Associates about some loan I took out months ago. How long do they have to collect on a loan I supposedly took out. They wanted me to pay them $108.00 for 3 months. Is this a fraud or what? I tried locating them in New York and no such business.

These individuals have called family and friends of my some and did everything they could to impersonate a law enforcement or court official. We delt with them on a personnel note (family of cops) and then I come to work at a federal facility ahd find they are trying the same thing with employees here through government phones, guess as a federal law enforcement officer I get to have fun with them now. Hope they enjoy court

found this by google, nothing more than a collector. You can even get a job if this is sort of low-life work you want.Maybe we should flood them with calls for the postion.

I have received 2 calls from these people. One saying his name was agent collins from the warrants division, the other from some lady claiming to be with my banking institution. Both were to my workplace, very embarrassing to say the least. These people are out for money, but they wouldn't tell me why I owed the money. Its all a scam. Further more, if they contact my job again, I am going to file a harassment suit against them, as I have told them not to call my workplace twice now. How do these people get away with this bull****! The economy sucks right now, the last thing people need is to be harassed for money from a bogus company such as this. Vampires, bottom feeders, generally a**holes in my opinion.

I was a dummy and wish i had read these comments first. They told me the same thing and that I owed $391 so i said split in half one paymet in oct one in november.  they took 2 payment but the same week and f**d up my checking account, now i am fighting with them and have reported them up the wazoo to whoever will listen.  The managers direct line is 716 828 8986, ext 114 Ms. Martinez.  I too have spoken to Doug, today it was Frank.  I reported tomybank not to hone any more ach requestes from them because they a \re a fraud

these folks are full of it, they called my on my job, siad they are investigators and are going to send this info to the county that I dont even live in anymore, 1st of all they are not investigators or lawyers they are collection agents.  I said ok send me a legal document showing what I owe and to who via email, so they sent an email, they are a collections agency, just like the millions of collections agencies around the country that call and harrass you! they are just bullies. dont let them scare you, they are bullies and really need to be stopped from calling and threatening anyone!

Received a call at work from Mr. Collins claiming to be a "Warrant Officer for New York".  Stated I committed fraud and that he was passing the information to my county for prosecution unless I pay out the amount owed.  Totally illegal especially posing as an officer.  They also use the number 1-877-252-0617.

I just got a call from this number and he stated that i owed him money and that he had sent a letter from the courts and e-mails regrading this matter.And that i have to take of this matter today or someone would be become to my house with a papers from the courts and that I would be charged with some kind of theft

Oh my dear god I have been throwing up and shaking these people have scared me into giving them my bank info to deduct 2 payments i told them i did not have the money they have threatened me that the police are down the road waiting for me also had the fire dispatch call my phone when i called back they did not have a clue what i was talking about.  Mr. collins has acted like he is talking to the police had his secretary call me cursed the f word at me and told me he was going to get me fired along with i need to pull my head out of my ass.  I was a little relieved to see I am not alone.  I also have filed a grieveance with the ftc.

I have received calls from "Detective" Ms. Martinez at Jacobson....does anyone have a physical address so that I can send a certified letter to them?  I want to put it in writing that they are to no longer call me or my place of employment....pleas help!

This is the second call I got from these guys, first one was 10/26 and I filed a complaint against them with the ftc over that call. Doug Smith said he was a lawyer and called me at 7am, I have it on my called ID and I took a pic of my phone and have it now!! I just filed another compaint with the FTC and now will file a small claims for $1000.00 for the 7am call!
