I have received at least 25 phone calls from Jacobson & Associates.  Someone used my number and I returned most of the calls and explained that to them.  They were sarcastic and rude asking for money and when they would get paid.  I actually gave them the correct person's name and employment phone number but the calls persisted.  There was not any association with me for their calls.  None.  The calls persisted despite the fact that I said I was not that person and not associated in anyway with that person.  This has been going on for several months.  They keep telling me they are taking my number off the persons two accounts but has not happened.  I spoke with a manager named Michael Kanton on 3-29-2011 all he wanted to do was argue.  The next day (yesterday) I received another phone call from them.  They have called on more than one number.  (716-828-8986 & 877-397-9471) plus others.  I definitely owe no money and they have absolutely no business reason to call me at all but will not delete the number from their accounts.

I received 20 or more phone calls from Jacobson & Assoc.  Even after I discussed with different collectors several times that they were calling the wrong person it continued.  I was not associated with the person they were trying to contact.  I was refused acces to a manager several times but then did talk to a person who said he was a manager (Mikel Canton) and the guy was extremely rude to the point I hung up.  They were very unprofessional and rude.  The phone calls continued.  They also used the number 877-397-9471.  The calls did not stop so I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Jacobson etc responded with a letter of apology saying they would stop the calls if they knew what number to stop.  This is a joke.  I had numbers discussions with them and my first job out of college as a collector position so I was aware they document every thing that is said and who said it.  I had to go back to the BBB and have them readdress the issue.  Jacobson etc is the most unethical and unprofessional business organization I have delt with.  They are very low class.

i just got a call at work not on my phone with this number and someone telling me from number 716-828-8986 ext 127 from a jacobson and associates regarding a manner in the county which i live. Never heard of these people. what or who can we call

These jerks called and had me making payments from my debit card. I actually called because I needed to give them my new number but I realized they never answer the phone with the name of their company. Any company answers the line with the company name.. Thanks for choosing Federal Express, "Bank of America, my name is ___" EVERYONE. Why not these people?  They only provide the name of the company AFTER they have pulled up my file.  I called from a private line and they hung up on me three times!  One girl told me to get my attorney because I would need one if I didn't continue my payments. RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! They were so nasty to me I decided to discontinue my payments until I reviewed the company further and found these postings.
