THEN DON"T LOAN TO PEOPLE YOU CAN"T VERIFY INFORMATION ON !!!!...DUH, if they are applying for a pay day loan they have BAD credit...That is the chance you take as a lender....DUH !!!!...You have made your money over and over and over...so stop crying like a baby !!!....

This number called me, and my daughter, and left a message basically stating: This is Agent Nash and this call is about a warrant and this call is "being recorded for (my county)'s DA office". He then asked that I or my "criminal attorney" return the call. And the same message was left on my daughter's phone (but the message was for me). What do I do? Who do I call and complain? I wonder is the "real xxxx County DA's" office is aware of this, because my town and county aren't that big. I have lost my job and it very well could be a bill collector, but I can't do anything right now, even though I would want to.

I have been called by a automated calling machine leaving a number to call back about a "time sensitive matter".  They have called my job and my cell phone leaving 2 numbers (716) 828-8986 or (877) 252-0617 to call them back.  When I called them back they said they were a law firm Jacobs and Associates.  At that time I told them not to call me back and if they had a legitimate claim to send proof by regular mail to my home address.  I never received any mail from them but they have begun to call again.

I am receiving threatening calls from a Chris Collins who states he is from Jacobson & Assoc with the caller ID 716-828-8986.  Since making the mistake of an online payday loan, this is the second apparant scammer to threaten lawsuits with a refusal to document any money owed

Ok I got a call from this company jacobson and Assoc. saying my name and that i was a refrence for someone with the same last name as me! that I needed to contact them! Slightly weird they called my Parents house as well! So that was earlier tonight, I was away, just wondering how my name and info was even found for such a thing for someone i dont know! I haven got no threating calls I owe no one at this pont...lol except for my parents... Apperntly this is somewhat crazy! I believe its 95% BS they are fishing for info!!! So beware and report these idiots any time you are contacted in such a illegal manner!
If they call us again which I doubt they will, but if they do, Attoreny time and I will repost, oh and contact the FTC!

I receive a call from a Mz. Lowery frm Jacobson and was told dat a warrant would be put out on me if I didn't pay them the money. I have until the 23rd. Then she calls bk and says dat she just spoke with her manager and now I have until the 19th or they will go thru my account (which is closed). I was really worried about them until I read this. I lost my job and home and now I have 2 deal with this crap. I'm gonna call and report them as well.

They scammed me out of 176.00 My girlfriend paid because they were threatening me. Know I'm out the money with no recourse. SCAM

I received acall from agen nash stating he is a warrants officer callin me about internet fraud....this man stated i was going to have a warrantfor my arrest if i didint awnser his questions.... come to find out this is just a collection agency in amherst ny for Payday loans... when i told him they never took the payment on the day it was there and they never contacted me he accused me of closing my account that i still have to this day.... basically to make a long story short ... it is against the law for a COLLECTION AGENCY TO POSE AS SOMETHING THAT THEY ARE NOT .... IT IS A VIOLATION FOR THE FDCPA...i got this guy on recording because he called me at work and all calls in or out are recorded... i hired a consumer justice attorney and he is now going after this colection agency for all the violations ... keep records recod calls if you can   and sue them.... enough lawsuits they wont have money to hire people like "agent nash" and hopefully would have their doors closedx!!!!

there is a difference when you call someone from about a bill... example.. the right way..

I've been receiving calls from some tramp name Deborah Lowery. She was extremely rude stating it is not gonna make her day or her pay check. After speaking to my attorney and viewing their history, I mentioned to her not to call me again and became very rude.

716-828-8986 keeps calling me on my cell number posing as investigator nash .claiming he's going to the county da's office on me i talked to the district attorneys office.also he claims he going to put all my relatives in jail.i'm disgusted by this.sick of this raspy voice man calling like crazy to try and scare me.he even knows where i live .i think he's just a bill collector and the fbi said i can file charges of him impersonating as a investigator.

I just received another call from these people. They are do rude! They called my sister and told her that I am giving my family name a bad name by not paying my bills and I need 2 contact their office or a judgement will be placed against me in my county. These idiots r crazy. I've spoken with my attorney and the attorney general in my state and they both informed me that they r a fraud. Do if they call me back with they same crap then if on!!!! I am just getting back on my feet after loosing my job and bring homeless with my kids, so I'm really nit in the mood to deal with them.

i was called by this number but they are representing as MARVEL & ASSOCIATES which even came up on the caller ID   when she got really rude after I asked what her call was regarding after she said she was going to file with the county I hung up on her and she called right back but was really rude and said she tried to get ahold of me a bunch of different ways  i told her not to call me at work she started being rude so I hung up on her then she called back.  I just pick up the phone and hung it up and havent heard back again yet  just wanted to let you know they are a scam from what all i have read and have several names of their business and several numbers also.

I also got a call from this company pretending to be a law office saying I was being charged by a payday loan place for attmept to defraud a lending agency or some crap. I was in the middle of making payments to a checkmate which is what they claimed they took over for. Gave them my credit card info to take only one payment of $88.70.   They charged that and then turned around a week and a half later and charged me $300.00 to my account which was never authorized by me. My account is overdrawn now, and I have been going round and round in circles trying to get it refunded.

Got a call from this company about a Payday Loan I had taken out a few months ago.  I lost my job and was having a tough time so I took one out even knowing how much interest they charged.  A manager Frank Ricard talked to me and was actually real helpful.  I was nervous after doing a little research about the company and calls other people received.  Frank was real professional and actually got me a settlement approved and waived all the interest.  He didnt say anything about a lawsuit or investigation or any of the other things I've read.  He just told me what I owed and let me setup the payment for my next payday.  It was half of what I owed and he even mailed out a letter (that I received last week) that says it was paid off.  My experience with Jacobson was good and I'd work with them again.
