This company is crap. I work in Collections and they simply cannot threaten individuals in this manner, they continue to insist that they are investigators and sending them a cease and desist letter will not work, they will continue to procesute in my county.  I should also mention this is the first day I have even been contacted by them and since I asked for the address they are going to 'speed' up the process.  Yeah sure they are. Yeah I recently got a call from this number as well saying I owe 390 dollars and I even asked them when did I take out this loan he couldnt even tell me and I laughed my head off. He said I have a class action lawsuit against me. Basically I have an attorney and I told him to take me to court over 390 dollars are you kidding me.  First off I didnt even remeber taking out a loan and then he said it was over a year ago from this bank account that he gave me which that account has been closed for atleast 3 years so again laughed.  I even asked him to fax over documents he couldnt even do that.  All these people want is your money.  Dont do it people they are just collection people.

FUNNY stuff....he's trying to get salary info from my employer this Mr. Duke guy.....I called him and told him not to contact my place of employment or me because my attorney will be getting in touch with him for harrassment.  Does he have short man syndrome or what...investigator O okay...scare me....he couldnt tell me what it was for either, just that I owed money....when I asked for him to send paperwork he said there isn't any paperwork.....What a DBag! Yea just a collection agency...being ignorant as usual!

Message was left on my cell phone on December 11, 2009 by a Ms. Martinez.  Phone number 716-828-8986 ext 114. Returned called and she stated that I had commited fraudlent activity in the county of Hidalgo and that I needed to pay $1464.49 back in two payments. The first payment needed to be in by December 30th for $300 and the remaining by January 30th.  Ms. Martinez did have all of my correct info and even the info of the company that I owe money to.  I contacted the company this morning and was given a number to contact compliance to report these folks.  Very scary and just glad that I decided to investigate a little further. Be cautious!

Got a call from a Mr. Duke looking for someone who does not exist.

Looks like a bogus collection agency.  

Took a look at there webiste and it is owned by GoDaddy.com
Where it says make a payment is not even https.

TODAY I RECIEVED A CALL FROM AN INVESTIGATOR RAYAN ASKING ME TO CALL HIM I CALLL THE NUMBER THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME IT SIMPLY GIVES ME A FAX SOUND. I KNOW NO ONE IN THE AREA FOR THIS TYPE OF GAME.

THIS PERSON CALLED ME HE DID NOT STATE THE COMPANY NAME BUT NEEDED TO TALK TO ME I KNOW NO ONE FROM THAT AREA.

I too received a call form this number, today. Asked for my ex-wife, by name,(we've been divorced 26 years!). When I asked what it was in regards too, he simply stated "a financial matter". I immediately googled it and found all of this. With all of the complaints, I'm wondering what the FTC and NY AG's office are waiting for?

Looking to collect on a loan and that they can provide no proof of giving me any documentation for a 225.00 pdl debt that is going through pdl debt settlement. I was quite interested to learn of all these comments and posting regarding Marvel & Associates and Jacob & Associates being the same location. I would be interested how most of you folks settled this matter.  They have rejected every offer thus far.

A 'Sean' from Jacobson and Associates has been harrassing my employer for 4 days now.  He has only called my personal phone twice to contact me.  My employer has repeatedly told him to stop calling.  He has shared personal information with my coworkers when he calls which is abosulutely illegal!  He called and taunted them today, by calling, hanging up, calling and then finally speaking to them.  I called today and simply asked for an address, which they tried to deny me, to send mail to.  They gave me this p.o. box 1241. Amherst. Ny 14228.  MOMENTS later 'SeanL calls me back. He have a discussion. He is of course threatening and rude. I told him I refused to pay him anything until I check into his organization.  That he has no legal authority to do the things he did. Told him never to call me or my job again, he would be receiving a written letter. And simply hung up.

With all the 'fake' debt collectors who have access to info, anyone could call and get you to pay a debt, then months later find out you paid 'nobody' and still owe it.

I intend on filing a complaint, writing a letter to said company, and if it continues further, file a suit.  So if they are 'legit' they are just inevitabley screwing themselves out of the money, if any, owed.

They too mentioned a matter in the county I live in. All similiar lies to many people.  Their actual number is 1 877 252 0617 and 'Seans' ext is supposedly 122.

Just call them back 18 times a day and keep your phone on mute....

Stated that there was a civil lawsuit pending in my county and that me or my legal representative needed to call right away.  I have not returned the call yet.

Got a call from Rick Collins saying he's from the Warrants Department, obviously trying to scare me.  Said there's an investigation and i've violated several state statutes.  Told me or my attorney to call him back at an 877-252-???? forgot the rest at ext 119.  After reading all this, yea i won't call them back.  :)Times are rough right now i guess anyone will do anything to get a dollar.

i find it funny that all of you people are really thing mad....saying things like "You can even get a job if this is sort of low-life work" hahaha.. COMING FROM PEOPLE WHO DONT EVEN PAY UR BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super low life work. funny 80% of you work at a wal-mart or dont even have a job. you people who take out loans and dont pay them back are the low lifes...sorry you people are thieves, and get phone calls about it... if i let you borrow 100$ and you didnt pay me back id call you everyday too... they called after 10 p.m. and called back them this morning, the lawyer was very rude, and told me that i can be charge for felony. is this true?

My 70 year old sister received a call from some jerk who said he was "Warranr Officer Collins". The phone number was 1-877-252-0617ext119. He threatened to serve my sister with a subpoena to force her to testify against me. She was very shaken up by this jerk. She gave me his number and I called him back. I didn't give him my name, but he figured it out when I asked why he threatened my sister. He yelled at me and cussed up a blue streak. He told me, after a lot of reqests from me, that he works for Jacobson Investigations. He is an investigator, not a cop or a warrant officer with the courts(He didn't tell me this.). I told him that it was fraud for him to represent himself as such. This set off a real tirade of cussing and threats.His investigator's license number is 069533. He gave me that, so I don't know if it's legitimate or not.According to him, I will be arrested tomorrow. All this over a small loan that I owe money on. I plan to contact the company I owe the money to and let them know how I was treated. I am also going to see if I can file a complaint with whoever issues investigator licenses.

OMG!! i am being harrassed by these people over a pay day loan...and yes i understand that i defaulted but they are SOOO RUDE and they've been calling me nonstop and they called my job and a friend of mine. The threats and the way they talk to me is quite frustrating. They chastise me over something that has nothing to do with them! and no they are not a law firm and i actually saw a job listing in which they are hiring for collectors!! i mean...the past few days with them have been brutal.

the next time they call, i will answer and state the laws to them. I will also be recording it...i am definetely sending them a certified letter and also filing a complaint with the ftc.

and to mr JOHN DOE...........no one is disputing that they dont owe the money, BUT it is definetely against the law to call people who owe money and harrass and threaten them..DUH!

go get a life, you're on here crying about us who havent payed back a loan when you dont know any of us personally. they are cut throat and unwilling to work with us who owe money. and it isnt our fault you pay day loan companies approve people without verifying everything. I definetely didnt commit fraud or anything close to it, I simply had a very difficult financial time for a few months which put me behind. so dont come on here defending a company as rude as they are.
