I got a call from them today (didn't answer) and found this page.  I looked up Market Strategies on the web and they have a fraud alert on their website stating that whoever is calling and using their name is doing so without authorization and is not affiliated with that company.

Try this!  When they call, just answer and then put the phone down.  Sit back and enjoy the frustrated "Hello?  Hello?  Hello?" you hear on the line.

Or even better, call them back and then put down the phone and waste their time!  Do this 5 times in a row and annoy them for once!

Don't want to be bothered by these callers, or any other annoying solicitors? If you have a phone that stores phone numbers you have all the tools you need! I've been doing this for years and it works like a charm: After you hang up, add the phone number to your phone's phone book, then select the ring tone you'd like for that number, like "Ringer Off" or "No Ring Tone". Next time they call, the phone will light up but it will not ring, and you know you don't want to answer that call!

Why don't you just block the number?????????

On do not call list.. Received  call from this number at 729pm

I have received a call from this number on 2 different occasions. Both times they did not leave a message or an automated message. I see that this number comes from a marketing company, and I thought that sales calls were not allowed to call home residences, mobile numbers after 8:00pm or on the weekends which this number did. I have also seen 734-542-7758 that this number/company has been reported by the BBB.

i just received a call from this number. they didn't leave a message. it may be from careerbuilder.com as i did have an account there......i'm pretty sure it's been deleted, but you know how things on the internet are.  when i checked my call log, i apparently got a call from them yesterday too around the same time.  they are the newest addition to my list of reject numbers!!  HAHAHA  they won't call me again (or at least i won't know about it)  :)

Here's how I fix the problem with people who won't stop calling. It takes a little time on the Internet, but the satisfaction is SO G-O-O-D.

Find out the state where the company's headquarters is located. Go to that state's corporation department  website -- where information for every company is listed. Get the CEO's name. Go to www.intelius.com and get his/her phone number. Then call him/her at home at 4 a.m. and say this. "Thank God I was able to reach you." (This gets him/her thinking there's an emergency, so they begin to pay close attention.) Then say, "Here's my phone number." Give him/her time to get a pen and then give your phone number. Then say, "When you get into the office in the morning, please have your secretary take my number off your calling list. The people who have called me every day for the past two weeks haven't done it yet. Thanks a lot."

What really bothers me is WHY would you EVER want to call someone on the do not call list, KNOWING they do not want to be called?  What is the logic in this?  They are only going to hang up or worse.

The do not call list should be a tool to keep your company's employees from wasting their time and your resources.

And if I do pick up, you are not going to like what you hear...  Trust me, don't do it...

They said they were doing a survey for Atlantic City Electric, in regards to a call I made to the electric company, I told them  I didnt make a call to the electric co...So they hung up.

They called me and said from T-Mobile , I asked then why you called me for , he hang up

They are a company that does surveys and research for tmobile, thats how they got your number

I was just called by 734-542-7758 and I answered and no one was there? It was just blank!

Just received a call from this number and the guy on the line was very intimidating. He asked for my father so I asked if he would like to leave a message and he said "no" very quickly. I called the number back and a voice recording explained it was a marketing research thing. So, guess who's going on my blocked list!

Stupidly answered this "out of area call," though I didn't recognize the number. Searched and found this site -- totally agree with the other posts, here. Caller identified herself as MSI Research. Stopped her there, and said, 1. Not interested, 2. Please remove our number from your call list. Her response, "We're not selling agnything." I don't really care. Registered on "do not call" lists. Do not know of them; never gave them permission to call this number. Calling on a Saturday afternoon, no less! So annoying.

I am on the Do Not Call Registry and still get these marketing calls. Since my verizon cell service doesn't provide call block (which they originally did and now don't)--- I have one way that works. Any of my family, friends and doctors that I know and want their phone calls to ring ---- They are all assigned a specific ring tone. Then, for my "general" anyone who calls ringtone is set to NO RINGTONE! which means if I don't know you or have business with you---- my phone doesn't even ring! The only thing I can't get rid of is the ding stating there is a message which is a minor annoyance compared to listening to rings coming through from persons I don't know. Then, my next step is to go to the do not call registry and report their number!
One thing NOT TO DO; DO NOT ANSWER ever. Because, then they will claim you are now an "established" customer because that is what it is considered.----

Sorry for all your difficulties.  However, this does not give you the right to bother people.  People have registered their displeasure with receiving unsolicited calls, yet your "employer" chooses to ignore their requests for privacy.  You are the vehicle for your bosses callous indifference to people's legitimate requests for privacy, yet you claim to be the victim.  If you are the victim, take it up with the A hole that insists on calling people that don't want to be called.
