Today I made alot of calls trying to help the Market Research company that I work for get this important study done for this utility company and we were calling Nevada and part of California. I called this one lady and she asked me a question about the study and why we were calling if she was on the no call list-then she started yelling at me and being very rude and absolutely would not let me talk. Lady you were in the Las Vegas/Reno area and we needed this survey very much. Yet you asked me a question and I tried to answer it but you said "I DO NOT CARE" about everything and anything. Of course I told you nicely that I was putting your number on our do not call list like you requested but you proceeded to act like a witch. How can do what you ask of me or anwer your question if you are going to silence me and treat me like a piece of dirt and garbage when you were the one who asked me the darn question. We are not scum. Why is it that when it comes to the NO CALL LIST even though Market Research companies have been EXEMPT since DAY 1 which was September 1,2003 that we never get to talk or say anything. Are you trying to silence us and take away our freedom of Speech like the Telemarketers did. I don't think lady in Nevada you have the right or the power to do that. Remember you asked the question so I attempted to answer it but being the rude and condesending yelling person that you are did not give me the chance to say ANYTHING.  I am somone who has many many disabilities and have been fighting since 1998 for SS and can't even walk because I am so severely disabled but yet you preceded to treat me like crap when you ASKED THE QUESTION. Just so you know lady in Nevada-you can't silence the Market Researchers that are only trying to make a living and not sitting on their [***] collecting welfare and costing you tons and tons of taxes you would have to pay just for me and only me if I was not working lady. Think about that lady. I was nice to you and you of course silenced me and I hope you are happy and do this to the next Market Research Interviewer that calls you because from working in call centers a long long time these numbers are used and called by many firms in the business.

I'm on the do not call list for a reason.  Market Research companies should not have an exemption. Period. Government Utilities etc should not be employing spammers, at great cost with our dollars, to make these calls.  WE DO NOT WANT THEM AND WE DO NOT RESPECT THIS SORT OF ACTIVITY. Get that through your brain.

DO LIKE I DID, I GOT EZVOICE INTERNET ANSWERING MACHINE AND NOW I PERSONALLY HAVE EACH CALLER "BLOCKED" AND YOU CAN BLOCK ALL THE NUMBERS IN THERE SYSTEM.

Robo calls need to stop. I am on the Do Not call list and this number calls and calls and hangs up.

Annoying and a waste of my time on a phone which I pay for.

I don't care what they CLAIM to be it's a scam.

I get calls from this number on a daily basis, but no one leaves a message.
One time I picked up the phone and could hear an open line and yet no one spoke.  It's very annoying.

To Cycle Rat:
I am familiar with the joke from the Seinfield episode that has been used on us for years and years. Could you please try and think of something to say more original. You could say "I do not care" I do not care" or "I do not care or "I do not care" like they all do when we tell you we can still legally call you under the no call provisions.  Most people that work in Market Research firms such as myself do not have telephones and if we do have a cell phone it is pre-paid and only used in emergencies. You can try and find me on the net but you can't because my cell phone has so few minutes available and used that I can't be listed anywhere and my income is so low that nobody calls me anyway for any surveys. All you have to do is hang up or say "I am not interested" and leave it at that.

To Do Not Call me:
I am suprized that you did not say "I do not care" about anything or everything like they all say when we call. They will at least say it about 5 to 10 times. On the No Call petition that went around the United States during the 95-96 political season it clearly stated that the Telemarketers were going to be regulated and it clearly stated that they law did not apply to telephone surveyors. People were too lazy to read the fine print. They wanted all calls to be regulated because of the evil people that they are. Already the No Call list eliminated 4-5 million jobs in the call center industry and that was alot and most of these people especially the ones that are disabled and challenged that have to work in that field such as myself are having a hell of a time finding work now because they can not survive on SS it is so low and have to work and how many more damn jobs do they still want to cancel. Do you want to have to pay my taxes,my welfare and of course my food and my housing while I do not work? I do not think so. People need jobs or they cannot buy anything and the stores will fail according to the trickle down effect. I do not think when the real unemployment rate now is about 20-22% when you count the people who cannot get it any more because it has ran out that the govermment is going to not make exempt these kind of calls when we are not selling ANYTHING. You should of read the fine print when you signed this petition when it went around.

these idiots need to stop calling. its not like i pick up their phone calls but still, they call 2-3 x's a flippin day! they didnt leave a message but they sat there recording absolutely NOTHING on my voicemail!  my husband filled out an insurance quote online months ago, and since then stupid telemarketers have been calling and we've been getting stupid junk mail and junk email!

734-542-7758  "Market Strategies" just called, would not tell me what the call was for/about, so that was that.  If the caller had said research for Medicare or some such, I might well have participated in the survey.

Market Strategies keeps calling my cell phone, i just don't answer any number that isn't stored in my phone book.

i think it's unfair to drag this person down who does this job. it happens. people do jobs sometimes that no one likes. what if the garbage men quit doing their job because it's not the most noble? what if cashier quit working because they were tired of people being rude? there are a lot of people out there doing jobs that no one else wants to do, sometimes because they can't do anything else. so remember that the perosn on the other line could be your brother, sister, daughter, or son, mother or father and remember they have feelings to. they're just doing what they're paid to do. and everyone has the right to a job without harassment. it sucks, but it is what it is. just don't be rude. block their number, you can call your phone company and they're either enter it for you or if it's your cell, you can enter it online or in your cell phone. it's simple.

They're calling here too,  too much. Fax them and fax them and fax them rotating two blank pages or messages either asking them to stop or ask them for donations to you or a charity cause of your choice.  Ask them for stupid stuff or free services or free stuff to compensate for your time !
Speed dial them, Over and over and over until they stop. Overload them !

This number calls every few days, and on the days the calls come in, I get 4 or 5 of them 10 minutes apart.  I don't want to talk to them but they continue to harrass.  How can I stop this caller?
