Received a call for my daughter.  I told them she was not available. They told me it was a legal matter that she needed to call 757 301 4745 Case NFLC1990. The caller gave her name as Sherri Parker.  The claim was that someone placed a complaint against my daughter and she needed to respond immediately or she will be called to court and a restraining order placed against her.  I told them they were all nuts.  I then hung up.  She called me right back and I didn't pick up.  The same Sherri Parker left a message that my daughter call the number she left and the case number. My caller ID showes it as a private caller.

I received the same message and could barely understand the person. Funny how she just happened to have the same name as me. Anyway, I did a search for the company by name and there is one called Global Legal Group but they are based out of London and have nothing to do with being a debt collector as far as what I read about the firm. I am disabled and found it quite funny that they claim I have a restraining order against me. I am just about to have neck surgery and my rotator cuff surgically repaired as well so it would be a little difficult for me to do much of anything to anyone let alone be a threat to someone. Perhaps they take a pro active stance to defend themselves from their own ignorance to the laws they are in violation of and as a legal firm, should be well aware of. I choose to block their number insteaad of knocking their block off. Just when I thought I had heard it all. Hahaha

Got a call at my mother's house claimng someone is filing a legal complaint against me.  This is not the first time I have received a call.  Funny it is the same number. Scammers.

I received a call from this number. But I already knew they were scammers. The sad part is as soon as you take them off thier 'script' or ask to speak to a supervisor they hang up. I have been getting harrased by scammers since Dec 2010. They have gotten more sophisticated with having you press 1 or 2 for certain options and having an account # linked to your info. But no reputable company would ask to verify all of your social over the phone. Its sad that nothing can be done to stop this harrassment. They have been telling me for a year and a half that I have a lawsuit pending. I tell them to sobpoena me if thats the case. I always ruffle their feathers by not cosigning on my vital information. I tell them its me but the address and social are wrong. They usually get frustrated and hang up. The last time I got a call was 5/15/12. After they left me on hold listening to elevator music, the agent who picked up simply said "hello". Then he realized that wasnt a professional response, so as an after thought he added his name and the company's name before he went into his script. Please let me know who I can file a legal complaint with. I am tired of being harrased. Thanks,

Shannon I just got the same phone call googled it the ph number was that of 757-301-4745 checked area code for 757 came back NorFolk Vergina and that it came from a smaller town called vergina beach the ladys name was Kathreen Black and gave me a case # to call with in 24 to 48 hrs. that i was involed in a law suit with a jail matter and had a restraning order agenst me she left me a case number tat went no where my lawyer sad call the atterony general and to just for get about it you have to be served first with the papers about the lay suit and then the restraining order there just low life scum bages that cant make it in the real world dont let these ppl get to ou dont give them an money or imformation unless you get served by the law then check with our county court house to see if you really have been served so untill ou get served and then check to see if the papers are real dont talk to them just hang up and call the atterony general and just for get about it untill get get verifacation that the papoers are real and you can do all that with out a lawer just a simple call to your local court house keep smiling and have a great day that goes for all of you and never give or send them an MONEY ok.

You got scammed.  These are ficticious loans that they scare people into paying.

My brother.  received a message on his voice mail, for me to call Ashley White at 757-301-4745 within 48 hours. That someone filed a complaint on me and I was being sued

5/30/12 - I recd a message at work from a woman who claimed she was an investigator and i should contact my lawyer because i had 24-48 hours to contact them and settle the "judgement" against me (which by the way includes a restraining order???) i called the number and found out it was Global Legal Group.  I was on hold forever and decided to hang up and check to see if this was a scam. I have been contacted before by various scam artists with foreign (Indian) accents but this woman had no accent, making it a little more believable. These scam people will not send you anything in writing nor will they give you the name of who you owe.  Beware, they can be very intimidating but DO NOT send them any money.

Just recieved a call from this number. A Det. David Roberts left a message requesting that my husband or my son to call . Only left some kind of a ref# and hung up. Didn't call back. Been hit before and I am not going to give them the satisfaction to charge us by ph. Send us a letter stating this problem.

Got a call today from 757-301-4745 saying i owed money for an internet payday loan which I have never done!!!  Telling me I will need to come before the judge or I can set up a payment plan. Also telling me there will be a restraining order out against me! He said his name was SGT David Roberts and he was calling from Global Legal Group! This is a total SCAM!!!!

Yep - got the same call yesterday on my voice mail.  Message is for my step daughter that has never lived with us, so how do they have her name and our number?  Stated she had a complaint filed against her and that she needed to respond in order to avoid a restraining order and court proceedings.  Told me to forward the info to my lawyer.  Also told Good Luck in the matter.  Thank goodness, I googled the number before calling my step daughter to see "what was going on".  I didn't call the number back.  I will check with our local law enforcement to see what I need to do.

Got an call from Unkown - answered it since I thought it was Sears.  Lady was looking for my wife, couldn't say her name right and said my number was given in reference.  I asked "In reference to what?" - she didn't know.  Gave me the 757-301-4745 number and an 8 digit affidavit number and told me my wife had 24 hours to contest this matter.  What a joke -

I just received a call from work...they called my work!! from someone named "Ms. Jones" stating that I am named in a legal matter and I need to forward my file number to my attorney. Lukily, our receptionist just put her in my voice mail, but still that is kinda unnerving. I think this is a scam.

I also had someone call me from my fiance parents house and stated that she had a number for me to call about a judgement. I called the number and the gentleman i spoke with he was from Global management and i had a Payday Loan that i was being sued for, first off Payday Loans are illegal in the state of Arizona.

they said they where from payday loan collector but yet when i called payday loan they said they didn't have anything on me.
