Yet another report of the same deal: a call with caller-id blocked, I didn't pick up, the voice mail said there's legal action pending, etc. I will not bother to call them back.

Surely everyone knows they would come by local law enforcement or certified letter!!!!!!

These people are harassing me calling my cell my parents and my  work how do I stop this it's ridiculous?

Got a call from an "Unknown Number", of course i don't answer those.  They leave an URGENT voicemail, stating what everybody else seems to be getting, restraining order blah blah blah.  So i call them, they tell me they have been trying to serve me at my last known address.  An address i have not lived at in almost 10 years i add. She tells me it's for a Mastercard, and i owe $1,023 and then asks if I have the money today and would like to pay it now.  I tell her no.  She then asks how much i would like to pay on this.  At this point i'm trying to think back about said Mastercard.  I then tell her, i've always used Visa, i have no idea what she is talking about, and to send me paperwork to my current address and we will go from there.  She says fine, good luck in court. Really?

A lady by the name of Kimberly Kelly called my mother-in-law's house yesterday looking for my boyfriend. She stated that she was with Global Legal Group, and they were taking legal action against him, and to have him call! When he finally called he was placed on hold! I decided too use my good friend GOOGLE to find out info on this group and low and behold it brought me here! Better luck next time Kimberly or whoever you are!!!

Just tried calling them back and was on hold for 12 minutes so I hung up and thought I would check them out...I could barely understand the woman that left the message. I couldn't even make out who she said she was with.  After reading some of these messages, I am glad I didn't talk to them.

I got a call from an attorney and they said that I need to call me an attorney on a legal matter had my home phone and all  my information should I call this number. they are also calling my job.

They called my eight year old daughter's cell phone telling her that a lawsuit was bring filed against her and telling her that if she didn't contact her attourney in 24-48 hours, she would be prosecuted. I called the number back and they didn't even have her correct name, it wasn't even close. They yelled and threatened to take her away from me if we didn't show up in court. What a scam!

Total scam, do not call back these bottom dwellers. Called my elderly parents upsetting them, thinking I had a restraining order pending against me.

Got the same basic msg. Thanks to Google n you guys I didn't even call it back. However 2 years ago I started receiving the same kind of threatening calls on my cell & at work & they scared me til I got pissed and bitched them out after they twice left a detailed msg about my personal business w the receptionist at my job. Isn't there enough complaints to do something about these people?

A woman called me to tell me I needed to call this number and told me her name was Sarah Reed.  She told me this was a suit against my name and for me to call this number to find out why and how to get it settled. I called and no answer just a recording

They have called twice for my husband's deadbeat brother. Apparently he had been giving out our home number so they won't call his cell. When he was evicted from his apartment for nonpayment, my husband and I took him in for a couple of months - and that stretched into a friggin' year. He owes money all over the place and has no means (or intention) of repaying his debts. After my continual nagging he eventually got a job. Within a few months they transferred him to another city to work on another project, but he lost it because he started drinking again. He has unpaid hospital bills from spending the night in emergency waiting for someone to reset a broken leg he got falling down the stairs at a transit station late one night, drunk as a skunk. I could go on, but my point is that these calls don't occur without reason. Some people just refuse to own their own sh*t.

This "scam" has started an already fragile family dispute. The company took my married name and called my family who still go by my maiden name and left messages that they were filing restraining orders against them. Well, of course, I am the common denomenator. So, I AM stuck in the middle of everybody wanting answers and voicing their feelings back and forth. I AM FURIOUS. I would like to call their in laws and start WWIII at their house. If I had the $, I would hunt these people down and take them $ everthining their worth and then some. I am sooo upset I'm screaming while typing this. God help them cause Kharma is coming after them.

these people called to threaten me with leagal action over a payday loan done while i was in the hospital! arkansas has laws against such loans and i didnt do it! so forget it. woke me up when im sleeping days after working all night and im rude? whatever!

I received a message from this number about a potential judgement against me and asked to have my lawyer return the call.  I have no idea what the company is talking  about but it seems that they are trying to frighten people into some sort of action that isn't really necessary.

A woman called me saying that there was a lawsuit filed against me, but wouldn't tell me who or why. She said it was a company in Virginia, I've never been. I asked her how she got my name and number, she said that the company provided her with it and it's her job to notify us. She said she was an investigator for Global something or other. She sounded shady. The syntax of her speech doesn't fit with her working as an investigator or somebody who's job it is to "notify" people of potential lawsuits. I didn't bother calling the number she left, but she did leave an affidavit number which was a nice touch. Fortunately, I know enough about the law to know that if anybody files anything against me, they'd need to serve me a subpoena not a call from an ignorant woman.
