- Still Suspect replies to employeeMaybe you are an exception to the rest of the employees of your company. The multiple stories on the internet saying when they answered the phone the representative immediately hangs up, which does not give a person a chance to say they are not interested. How do you explain that? This happened to my wife several times today. We are not interested in being sold a time share and we would like the opportunity to tell your company we are not interested, but by hanging up when we answer, your company does not give us the courtesy to do so.
- redbull09 replies to robinSame story here.. Total SCAM !!!
- TmoneyI just got the call from the number. A friend of mine filled out some form up at an O'charleys restaurant. I was told I had won a trip to Williamsburg for 3 nights, and to Disney for 3 nights, and a 50 gift card. The girl that called me was Kaitin (nice voice lol). Like someone else mentioned, the catch is, i pay $75 deposit before I arrive and get all my "promised gifts" as the girl liked to say over and over again.

- Surprisingly LEGIT| 1 replyI got called by "April" she said I won a trip and a visa gift card. She sounded professional for Wong a telemarketer. She asked to have my husband on the other phone. I did, and she transfered me to the travel agent "Kenxay?" we felt that Kenxay was a little pushy when she said we had to pick a date within minutes of talking to her. We live in Norfolk, so Williamsburg isn't far. Besides i didnt know we get a FREE Busch GARDENS admission for being in the service!!!! kenxay gave us the BUSCH GARDENS website,I have 4 kids so she upgraded us to a 2 bedroom CONDO. Since it started sounding too good to be true, I expressed my concern about giving out my credit card over the phone. She sent me an email confirmation, and gave us her name/phone number in case we had any questions. I asked Kenxay to hold for a moment. So I called my local papa johns where I had filled the entry form at. They said indeed the company is legit. We agreed to do it. We thought worst comes to worst, WE could call our credit card company and report it as FRAUD. I was transfered to some girl I think her name was "Adele"? So I went ahead and booked it. So far so gOod. I received my confirmation in the mail yesterday. Everything seems as promised. I'll keep you updated about how the tour goes. Come to think of it, a FREE STAY just to listen to someone talk for 90 mins? SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!!
- Caller: WILLIAMSBURG PLAntation.
- Hmmm... replies to Surprisingly LEGITAre you guaranteed a condo stay? Because people mentioned being tricked into staying at the PATRIOT SUITE? I have 4 children myself two of which are teenagers, so a hotel room will be more of a misery than a gettaway!!!!!
- The gifts are legit but I don't know ifI agreed to this offer. My girlfriend and I drove all the way from DC. I got a call from Tim, he said we won two trips and a visa gift card I exchange for a tour of their resort. We got excited. We are in our mid twenties, weve been together for 2 years and never had taken a vacation together. We didn't know a timeshare tour would take over 90 minutes. We even told the travel agent we erebt planning on buying, she said "we just want your future buiness". Make a long story short, we got our email confirmation, but the one in the mail never arrived. We got our $200, and vouchers.

- Surprisingly legit replies to marylandYou will get everything they said, as long as you are willing to go to that seminar. Williamsburg is a resort, but Orlando is I think a hotel stay.
- LIsaI got a call from someone named "Elly" from this number saying I won a gift card which I had entered at a virginia women's show. Said would call me back tonight at 8:45 because it was urgent we speak. Shows up on my caller id as VAC VILL RESORT. Googled and came up with many others who said this is an identity theft fraud call. BE wary.
- Tata| 1 replyThe number called and left a message saying that my husband won $125 gift card and another amazing gifts. He did remember filling out some sort of drawing form at the gun show. They called back and requested a 3-way call. They new my husband's name (of course it was on the form), but not mine. They insisted talking to both of us. The first lady gave a confirmation number of our winning prize - 3 day stay at some Williamsburg, VA hotel and another 3 day vacation at Orlando, FL and transferred the call to another person who supposedly had to provide us with vacation details. Yeah, right :-). She kept asking about our recent vacations, were we stayed etc. We couldn't handle their BS and cut them off. Obviously it was leading to our credit card info. It's a SCAM, so be aware!
- Caller: VAC VIL RESORT
- Ram replies to TataJust I got the same message for $175 gift card and Orlando Trip for 2 nights and 3 days. We never bought PapaJones F***** pizza. Be aware off these dogs.
- JackHad a voicemail from this number today. Katlin said my wife filled out an entry form at Papa John's (She didn't) and that she was a winner of a Visa Gift Card. When and if she calls back, I'll tell them that my wife passed away three months ago. Hopefully that will cause them to drop our number.

- KevinMy wife and I are having the same experience: we filled out a gift card drawing entry at an outdoor show and this guy started calling persistently at all hours. We finally told him to stop calling. He was very aggressive and we finally had to hang up on him.
Now he has started calling late at night and early in the morning from a different number (757-660-8781) and leaving obscene messages on my answering machine. - Brenda BradyThe lady, Jesse told me that she has a gift card for up to $125.00 from the Maryland State Fair.

- Taylor jonesI dont' know who the caller are, they call all day long and i am sooo tired of this company calling my cell phone.
- kiet tran replies to jmyou are right before that i did not have any such call like this. Now i figure out that i did put my name in the wining car at my local state fair. I think they sold the information to third party. i now receive 3 or 4 phone call from this number everyday.
- WendyYes I receive this calls from 757-947-0249 name JUstin saying the same BS I
Win vacation. blah ,blah more bs ,is a scan don't answer - Kim M.Yes. I'm a 45 yr old white female and single mom living in Joppa, Maryland. I completed an entry form at my local (Edgewood, MD) Jiffy Lube. I received several VM messages on my daytime work phone because the rep named Kizzy from Vacation Village that would call around 6:30-7:30 PM. Since I was interested in what I supposedly had won, I called back during the day and was told that they only call in the evening, so I left my name and evening phone number. I received a call on Wed 12/26/12 at 6:40 PM (during dinner time) from Kizzy. Even when I told her that it was dinner time and that I also had a sick daughter, she did not offer to end the call and call me back later. Kizzy spoke with me, tried to identify with me, and gain my trust. She also wanted to get my travel companion on the line for, which I thought was none of her business since the reward was supposed to be for me. Anyway, she insisted and came up with reasons why I should give her his phone number and even offered to call back later then my travel companion would be available. She put me on hold to ask her manager whether it would be okay to proceed with the call since I was not willing to involve my travel compantion. When she returned to the call she asked me if I was willing to proceed with making travel arrangements without needing to consult with my travel companion, my work schedule and was I able to provide a $75 deposit today. When I stated of course I had to consult with my work schedule because that is how I earn the $75 deposit to be able to go in the first place. She replied by asking if I would be able to make the arrangements in the near future and provide a credit card for the deposit. I told her that it would not be wise to give a credit card # to a total stranger that calls on the phone. I said I can't do that and apologized. That was when Kizzy hung up on me. I may have gone and listened to the 90 minute pitch and paid the deposit only upon arriving at the hotel. Jiffy Lube should be ashamed for affiliating themselves with these type of scammers, but it is not surprising; Jiffy Lube runs their own scams by attempting to sell people products and repair services that they don't need and then charges for repairs that they never perform. There was never a reward associated with the entry form I completed; just a scam to get my credit card number. Vacation Village is just trying to reward themselves with your money. Jiffy Lube is likely selling their customer's information under false pretences.
