- JasmineI got the same call but if you are not familiar with time share solicitations, it is fair to assume it is a scam. I did fill out an entry card at friendly's. So I say go for it. Instead of providing credit card info have them call you back and put the money on a pre paid visa debit card... All you have to do is sit through a very boring time share speech... You may fall asleep but at least your hotel stay is free. This is better for a couple who won't be bringing their kids and have other stuff they can do while staying there than just being cooped up in the condo. If you already have plans for a vacation why not get your hotel stay free and see what other attractions they have while you are there. I don't think I will be doing it this time though. Although I did do one for Disney... same scenario and everything worked out fine. Just make sure you research the company calling you to make sure they didn't "buy" your contact info. CID# was 757-947-0249

- JudyGot a call about a free vacation package at Williamsburg Resort and $200 gift card just tonight. It sounded legitimate because I was at the event where he said my name was entered. His name was Jordan Travis.
- previous employee| 3 repliesi used to work there and it is not a scam, some of you people should read stuff throughly before just filling it out! only reason they call is because YOU not we YOU filled it out and as stated on the entry form we are allowed to call from 9am-10pm as many times as we want until we get in contact with you!
- Robert| 1 replyGot a call saying I had been selected from a drawing entered at a baseball game. When called back later, Jerry said the place entered, my address and that I had indicated single. A bad guess on single. I asked who he was affiliated with and he said Berkley Plantation and now went up to as much as 1500 in prizes and coupons....yeah right. I told him after he asked why I did not sound happy to recieve such a gift, I said you sound like a gimmick, he sounded a bit angered and said he would give up my winnings and find another winner. My question is "how are these guys getting these entry cards from the events?"
- Caller: ?
- TMH replies to RobertI received a message last night from a woman named Kayla who said my entry was selected and I had up to $200 complimentary gifts cards and more prizes. She called my phone 5 times yesterday. I don't remember filling out an entry for gift cards or prizes. I too attended a baseball game recently. I would think if you entered a drawing for a specific thing then that should be the only thing you would get called about.
- MRS. MAD.AS.HELL| 1 replySo this b**** name Katie been calling me for 2 weeks now. Last week I told her she had wrong number. This time I answered it. She knew my name and my husband.. (she trippin') She say I gotta have my hubby on phone with me, but I told her he was not here. She said she gotta do this by 10:00 for me to get the trip to Williamsburg, VA for 3 nights. She says please promise me you will answer when I call back.. OK why is this chick begging!! I just got this new number and I want to know how she got it. Something told me to Google this number and wow... looky what I found. She almost had me. If she were to talk about a credit card number she would have gotten the dial tone. It's not 9:15 yet but when she call imma let her know I know this is some [***]. And see what she say. LOL

- Reading Comprehension replies to MRS. MAD.AS.HELLJudging by your grammar I can tell you're not the most educated individual. Thats OK but even stupid people should read things before they fill them out
- Mrs KThey asked me about filling out an entry form at an Asian restaurant called TASTE Chinese/Japanese restaurant. She started spelling my name and asked if that was mine or my husband's name. I told her not to call back and hung up

757-947-0249 - C CukierI filled out a card to win something at the Chesapeake Jubilee in May 2013, since then I have recieved calls from a woman at 757-947-0249 that says she is from Gloucester. She usually calls at dinner time or in the evening. Last night I told her I don't want to have anything to do with her and I guess it made her mad because she raised her voice and then tried to call me back twice right after I hung up. I was trying to take a call on another phone and the constant ringing of her call was very aggrevating. I will never fill out one of those cards again.

- jvTrying to sell you a time share. Got my number when I signed up to win a car at an auto show.
- aksThis guy call me and offered me 3days/4nights in wiliamburg, va and selected for $200 papa John's gift card. He didn't tell me anything about himself, they told me you have to do three way call with your fiancée, then want us to file entry form and at last he asked credit card details and I hung up. Be careful.
- avidhiker(757)947-0249 showed up twice on my caller ID. Did a reverse phone look up. Lo and behold - it led me here. Looks like I'm not gonna be calling them back ever! I will continue to ignore calls if they try to call me back again.

- annoyed replies to previous employeeI can honestly say I've never filled out anything!!! What's your excuse for your former employment allowing their employees to cuss at the people they call? To keep harassing them even after they clearly state not to call them again. Where do you get off trying to put someone else down over their vocabulary? Tell me what kind of education do you need to work in telemarketing???? I sure in hell wouldn't be on here acting proud that you worked for a bunch of rude [***] & your better than anyone else. Here's some advice for you sir. Get a real damn job!!

- JackieDI would never have returned such a call, but as the caller -- who conveniently garbled key phrases in his voice mail message -- mentioned Delaware State Fair, I returned it, because I trusted the Fair organization. Past tense. In retrospect, red flags started going up immediately, but I allowed myself and my husband to be gradually drawn in by answering nosy questions until it became too, too tiresomely obvious we were being set up for a scam. Then we hung up, feeling foolish and sick that such dirtbags flourish by preying on trusting individuals. Would that I had checked this site first, as I usually do, but my normal caution was disarmed by the imprimatur of Delaware State Fair. Obviously these sleazy operators get their victims' contact information in friendly spaces such as state fairs, festivals, the Delmarva Home Show, etc. by staging bogus drawings you can enter for "free." There are no drawings. Nothing is ever, ever free. Why do organizations people trust allow this to go on? If they are getting "donations" in exchange, they are as culpable.

- mel| 1 replyFilled out a form (my kids did) at little Caesar's pizza. I'm really pissed that this company would allow for my info to be given away to such a company. They won't stop calling saying I won prizes and both my husband and I had to be on the phone. I was giving the baby a bath and couldn't talk to them but are calling back in 15 minutes. Glad I googled the number and I will be sure to give little Caesar's a call and complain. Im so upset about this. I feel like my privacy has been invaded.
