I recently bought a Tracfone (pay as you go) and darn if  this SCAMMER got new number.  How does this happen.

Caller ID said APPLE VALLEY, CA.  I know no one in California, but answered it just to see what type of call it might be.  A recorded message said, "Hello, this is Heather calling from credit card services, about your current credit card account.  There is no problem with your account, but press 1 to find out how you can lower your credit card interest rate."  At that point, I hung up the phone and added them to my telephone's caller blacklist.

This # calls my home frequently with the pre recorded message about lowering my credit card rates.  Ive probably received 20 or so calls in the last few months!  Today they actually called my cell phone.  Im on the 'do not call' registry for both.  They said hit '1' to talk to a live person so I did (to tell them to not call anymore) I got a live person and started telling them that and they hung up on me.  Tried calling back, its always busy.  They are soooo annoying!

Same thing. Got a call. No message. Was called at 1:20pm on sept. 5/13.

Called here this morning at 8 am. no message left. so annoying.

Just got a call from this number. didn't recognize so i didn't answer, no voicemail was left. check out the number on this site and found out it was a scam. Thanks so much for posting. Have been getting alot of calls lately from strange numbers and i always check now.

Telemarketer that totally disregards both State and National Do-Not-Call lists.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone at 10.30am. No message. Thanks for information about them!

Same situation.  Called my cell phone.  No message left.  Number rings busy when I try to call back.  Just another scammer!!

This is a HUGE scam!!  My mother, myself, and my husband have both received these calls.  My mother answered the call and they said they were from Capitol One and they had ALL of her credit card information.  How much her balance was, how much of a payment she made each month, even the dates she made the payments!!  All she did was listen, and at the end of the speil she was told that she would be charged $900.  She ended up having to call Lifelock to get it fixed.  This is a SERIOUS scam.

These are scumbag crooks who want to steal your identity along with clearing out your account. I don't answer any call on cell or landline I don't recognize. This came in on my cell. If I could catch up with them I would take a big stick to their heads. These are not honest business people, just lowlife criminals.

Got a recorded message from "customer service" saying they'd reduce the interest rate on my credit card, but did not identify the institution or company.

Scam-o-rama

I received a call from this number at around 3 AM this morning on my cell phone! I didn't recognize it so I didn't pick up, plus it was too early/late.  No message was left.  I googled the number into this page. Thanks for letting me know the deal.  I will now block this number from my cell phone

I am so thrilled.  They have a whole new name (Account Services in place of Cardholder Services), a new caller-ID indication (California) and a new recording from Heather instead of Rachael (although the voice sounds the same).  But it is the same old credit card scam it has always been.  Still the FCC/FTC or whomever is supposed to regulate these folks has done absolutely to prevent these recorded Robo-Calls.  I guess everyone but the government has advanced technology available to them.  That or the government doesn't care about the people.  One would think the NSA would have picked up on this and would have the technology to track them down, but guess they only care about listening in on regular people's calls.

Got the call on my cell from 760-242-8473. Didn't have glasses on so couldn't see the number. Answered with "Hello". Got automated message..." Press 1 for... Press 2 for...".  I hung up!

I got a call from this number today on my TracFone. It was a recorded message about my "credit account". It said there was NO problem with it at this time BUT.... and I hung up. This call cost me $$. Wish they could be made to PAY!!
I wish the phone Co wold do something about folks being able to SPOOF caller ID names & numbers. But of course if they did them the telemarketers couldn't operate...DARN... #$^%@!

They called me today at 2 they need to leave everyone alone.

Just received a call from this number. Did not recognize number, did not answer, left no voice mail.

Got this call but I didn't answer it. My phone said it wa a a California number and since I don't know anyone in that state I did not answer. Interesting that people are saying the people claim it is about credit cards. I've never had a credit card in my life.
