Same thing happened to me

called cell left no message

Just got four calls on my cell phone from this number. No message was left. Didn't answer as I use this phone for emergency's only...only family has the number. One call I could understand but 4 in a row. Get a life. Get a real job...something other than harassing people.

Received call. As soon as a recorded message came on I hung up.

Just received a call on my cell from 760-242-8473. One ring and they hung up. Thanks to the others who took the time to post here.

saw it was a 760 nbr and didn't even bother to answer.  I don't answer any numbers I don't recognize period.

Thanks for a heads up to yet another scam.  Saw this number had called again as I missed each of them. Going forward I won't be answering them.

This number has invaded my cell phone and home phone. I never pick up a number if blocked, unknown, or unfamiliar. Sure wish there was a way to block them without the extra charge from my wireless company!

Got a call from this number. They offered to lower my rate when I asked what credit card they are with. They hang up

This is a SCAM!

I received the call and answered.  It was an audio message stating press 1 to lower your interest rate and press 2 to be removed from the list.  I pressed 1 to hear what they would say.  A gentleman answered with thick foreign accent.  I asked him what card this was for and he said "Visa".  I asked what compnay or bank card was he referring to and he hung up.

Just got a call on my personal cell.  I am job hunting and thought it was related to that but it was 760-242-8473 and they hung up.  I am adding this number to my REJECT CALLER list on the phone.  Judging by all the calls people have received today 9/3/13 they must have come across all of our info - maybe a database somewhere was hacked.

same thing  got call and the busy signal when called back.

Don't like it one bit. My # is on "the do not call registry" and these sleazy people slide on in. Don't like it at all. So much for the do not call list.

This literally JUST happened to me. Yes thank u for this page!!

Received preliminary recorded call, pushed #1 and waited for someone to answer, when they did, they told me that they could reduce my credit card interest rate. I asked them what CCard they were going to do that on. The spoke of about 4 cards and I informed them that I didn't have any of those Cards and requested that my Telephone number be remove and Damn they HUNG UP on me. Wrte a complaint to the FCC but don't expect any response.

I have received calls from these people on both my personal cell and work cell. When I answered both times, I heard a recorded message from "Heather at Card Services" asking me to press 1 to lower my credit card interest rate. Knowing that this was likely a scam, I pressed 1 and when I was connected to a person, I asked them to tell me what card they were calling about and what bank they represented. The first time, they had general information about the limit of one of my accounts, but claimed it was the wrong type of card. When I called them out they hung up. The second time, they hung up right away when I asked them to provide information to confirm that this wasn't a phishing attempt.

NEVER PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE!! YOUR BANK OR CREDIT CARD COMPANY WOULD NEVER ASK FOR THIS INFORMATION.

I guess this scammer is buying a cell list as the call I received was also to my cell phone. I didnt answer and tehy left no message. I already tagged it on my phone as "scam" so if it comes up again, I know not to be tempted to answer it
