This # has called me for days telling me that they had an important message, then they hang up.....if there had been a REAL person on the line I would have blown my air horn in their ear.....I have NO idea why they are calling me.

This nummber called me at 8:01 am. CST. As I was getting ready for class. The answering machine picked up and it was a live female voice. They hung up. If your saying it is Sally Mae--well, I got news for them......my loans are in deferment until May 2009!!! Idiots!!! who call.

Received a missed call from this number at 8:08 AM.

I have gotten many calls from this number and many other of Sallie Mae numbers in one day. Last week i got 10 calls from them and I am in the middle of them filing my in-school deferrment form. I cannot wait to transfer my loans, their horrible customer service/collections has caused them to lose a customer. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB, I suggest you all do the same.

Keeps calling me and asking me to hold

I keep getting calls as well. Is there anyone on here that can verify this is really sallie mae or not? If it is maybe ill start answering and see what they want. I don't owe them any money so it should be interesting

I started getting calls from these people about 2 weeks ago on my cell phone same # I've had for 3 years.  I do not have any loans through Sallie Mae and I'm deffinatly not the person they keep asking for.  I have called their main # and advised them and also advised every other # they call me from I'm not said person.  I cannot get them to stop!!!

This Call is pain. The get on my Nerves calling 20 times a day if no one answer your call. Why do they insist on calling all day every day. I'm am not one to answer calls I don't know.. They need to have a number or code that we can block these annoying calls!!!!  Harassed!!!

It is Sallie Mae, they have an office in Muncie Indiana now as well as Indianapolis as well. I used to work for them I know how annoying it can be. If they keep calling all you have to tell them is that they are violating the FDCPA which stands for the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. And by calling you are going to report them. They will stop.

These people have been disturbing me for weeks and I never get a live person either! They left a call back number and they put you on indefinite hold.  The best is they are calling the wrong number! They call early in the morining and late at night.

I called 888 276-5543 and listened to the prompts.  I actually had to choose applying for a loan to get a live person.  Spoke with a ms Debra Brown and gave her my phone number and said she would remove me from the list and that I might get 1 more call that may be programmed into the dialer.  Will see.  After that I took a 4 question survey and was able to leave a message in which I stated that they need a live person to do these calls so we can tell them the number they are dialing in wrong!  I hope this helps another poor innocent soul like myself.

calls almost every other day including weekends

I have a Sallie Mae loan. So it must be them. They call from 888's to. But when I demand to speak to a supervisor about my ever growing loan amount (instead of decreasing.. even though I pay more than the minimum, on time, every month and have paid over $6,000) they hang up on me!!!

Getting many calls from this number......no loans here.  They can go to hell.

I hate it when these people call!!!! I know it is sallie mae that is calling because the computer on the other end says "please hold for the next available representative"  you wait forever.  You never talk to a live person on the other end!!!!

Yup.... Ive been paying for the past 4 years.  last month missed one payment but I sent a letter stating I would partially pay then catch up next month.... they keep calling.... 1 payment in over 4 years! its ridiculous.

Called may 7 8-45 pm Did not answered. Caller did not left any message

Confirmed from above numbers... Sallie Mae. I paid 2 weeks ago and they are harrasing me for the next payment. Hope I get the lotto to give them back what they look for and forget about them!!!!!

Actually by the time they are calling they are clearly violating the FDCAP rule that states that no call should be done Before 8am or after 8pm
