I have also been plagued by this awful text messaging.  I even changed carriers.  They found me again after a month.  I have begged them to stop by replying to their texts and there has been no response.  I have wracked my brain trying to understand where they found my phone number and I am coming up blank.  I would like to ask respectfully that this company stop hiding behind a half number and list their actual number so that I can call and yell at a human being.

Just got off the phone with Verizon to find out what these 77899 "premium" text messages are.  They couldn't provide me with any specific information, but did reverse the charges and put a block on my phone.  Seems someone has figured out how to hack into Verizon's billing because I never got any messages, only the bill.  Ithen went to sendmobile.com and can't figure out the "go to need help".  It looks like just another search engine to me.

I have found out a way to stop it. You send them a text message saying xtones and it tells you that they ended the subscription. I will check next saturday (the day I always get the message) and see if I get the message or not.

type UNSUBSCRIBE and hit reply.
It will then send you a text telling you to enter XCLBTV to quit CelebTrivia.
Reply with that and you are out.

they did to me twice, too. i called sendmemobile.com today. they agree to refund me. we will see.  but this kind of business practice got to stop. cell phone companies shall also be held accountable for not protecting customers.

because of such a wide spread online fraudulent business, cell phone companies must stop billing for them. otherwise, they become an arm of these fraudulent charges.

Hey, i called my phone company cause of this #. They said all you have to do is send a reply saying "Stop" and nothing else. A few seconds later they will send you a confermation text that they have ended the texting. I swear to god it works, it sounds stupid but its totally true, i really hope this helps you guys :) good luck.

Pleas stop sending me text messages.

I am being charged for this monthly and I do not want it on my phone.  When I push stop, it doesn't do anything about it, and it continues.

I want these people to stop sending text to my phone. Espically late at night.

My son keeps getting texts from this number.  He did not sign up for this service but we are being charged for it.  Who is it and how can we stop this?

Go to www.sendmemobile.com, then sign in.  If you don't have your password (which you probably don't), click on "forgot my password" and they'll text you your password.  Once you have that, sign in and go to the MyMobile tab.  There you can unsubscribe from whatever texts you're getting.  Ours was "Celeb Trivia".  Unfortunately there's no way to close your account all together, at least that I can find.  Also look for other numbers you're getting texts from.  We had another company (solow.com) charging us as well.  They are a partner of sendmemobile.com.

call you cell phone provider and have the numbers blocked as soon as you get the text from these numbers. it just happened to me today and i called right away and they said i would not be charged and those numbers could not text me again.

I got 3 text messages from 77899. After looking it up and seeing all of the complaints, I called the company and told them I wanted to stop receiving text messages and to make sure I hadn't been charged. The lady that I talked to blocked the messages and told me I had canceled just in time so I wouldn't be charged. She said I typed in a pin number somewhere and that had activated my account (which is completely false). So if you are getting the messages, I suggest you call customer support immediately (877-373-6363)

Some celebtrivia thing left a text message on my phone. I opened it and then deleted it and they took $9.00 off my phone!! That's bull! I never authorized anyone to do that. And because I'm prepay, they can't track it for me!
