Some celebtrivia thing left a text message on my phone. I opened it and then deleted it and they took $9.00 off my phone!! That's bull! I never authorized anyone to do that. And because I'm prepay, they can't track it for me!

Got several text messages just saying 77899 this morning don't know what the heck it is

It is an outrage that these companies can add a hundred dollars to yoru phone bill SIMPLY because you didn't know you had to text STOP to prevent getting charge. My cell phone keeps getting calls/messages from these companies and I ahve never engaged in any activity to warrant this. I texted 77899 and sure enough after the comformation that I am unsubscribd I again recieved another text from them. STOP texting me you crook(s)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have contacted my Verizon carrier and they have placed a block on all my phones. But why do I have to pay for you texting me!!!! When I have not texted you back at all!!!! Get it...just because I didn't respond to you I have to pay!!!!!!   Furthermore since when can a company go into a financial agreement with a child!!! You did not ahve the permission of the parent to do this!!! Also stop giving our numbers to all the other crooks!!!!

I was on the internet and even though I clicked on cancel I received a text from 77899 and it charged me $9.99. They would not refund my money.

Spam and fraud from these numbers happens all the time. They are so tricky in getting your number without you barely knowing!

If you didn't text STOP in time, meaning they put the charge into your phone bill already, then you will have to call your company provider and ask them to take the charge off your account. (check online if possible to see if they charged you). Usually, if the representative you talked to was nice enough, they will take it off your bill no problem.

As for me, I am not the person who has the authorization to my phone plan (I am an added line), so I couldn't get them to get the charge off. I called the number from www.sendmemobile.com (877) 373-6363 instead and told them about my charge that I never wanted. The lady I talked to was nice and apologized, she also block my number for me and said that they will send me back a refund within 3 weeks. This might have been possible because I was quick to react.

I was amazed how fast they charge $10 to my phone number.  Be persistent and definitely don't be afraid to take action. If you never wanted it, then you should get your money back and your number blocked.

Also, for those who took those stupid quizzes where they ask for your number for your "results", don't do it. They will charge you.

I am getting the same thing!!!  I even called verizon to have them stop it on their end, now I constantly get texts saying, "texting to this mobile # has been blocked.... blah blah blah!" aaargh!!! Make them stop!!!! Who are they?!?!?!

I keep getting texts from this # and I have replied stop and no more and yet they still keep coming. My phone bill has gone up $10-$15 per month and it's getting on my nerves.

I called Verizon and they told me to send a blank message to 77899 with just the word "stop". I did and a few seconds later I was unsubscribed from whatever I had. Maybe this will work for others, I hope.

The scam continues from sendmemobile.com,  I have agreed to enter a class action suit

I have used tex messages telling them to stop I don't want this service never use it. They just keep billing me. I cannot get them to answer anything. The # they have to call does not answer. I will call verizon again and see what they will do. I did not subscrtibe to this music tunes. They have been charging me 9.99 for sometime.

Just go to their website and terminate your srevices. http://www.sendmemobile.com You will probably need to have them send you the password by text message, but once you have that, log on to your account and cencel the service. . .which is a total rip.

I keep getting messages from 778-99 and I don't no these people or company. They call them selves Celebrity Trivia. I found out by reading the post on this number is to just type in the reply box is Unsubscribe. Then you get a message in return saying (WE CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO CELEBRITY TRIVIA. YOU WILL RECEIVE NO MORE FURTHERMESSAGES OR CHARGE. FOR HELP VISIT WWW.SENDMEMOBILE.COM/HELP

sendmemobile's number is 1-877-373-6363. call them and speak to someone. if you get a voicemail, call back until you get a person.

Did They ever sent you the Refund back  for what they charged you ?

I didn't ask for this, please take it off. I would like to be reimbursed.
