This is outrage. Everyone should file an complaint to FTC or Consumer Report to get rid of these spam guys... Let do it everyone, spend few minutes to report them

I kept getting calls, too, with trivia questions to answer.  The last time it gave me a web address which I followed, got a contact phone number, called and followed instructions to cancel the subscription.  I think I got into it by taking a quiz on facebook which asked for my cell phonenumber to send me apin so I could get the results of my quiz.  Maybe this is what you've got.  go to the website and get a contact number to call.  I couldn't find any other way to cancel. Tried to cancelo from my cell but it wouldn't work.the website was sendmobile.com.

texting stop didn't work for me.  It would go through.  I went to sendmobile.com,got a contact phone number, followed instructins to cancel.  don't know for sure yet if it worked, but the message said that i had canceled my subscription.  These scams infuriate me!

I called my verizon carrier, they were able to refund me half of my charges of 19.98..then I went on the website of sendmemobile.com/text and someway got a customer service number....the phone jerk apparently has several calls in this matter...did not want to hear what I had to say but stated that my money will be refunded in about 3 weeks...I will save this contact number to see if I do receive this check....I asked well how could have this happened?   He stated that there is an iq test on the internet and apparently the subscriber did not read the entire test because at the end there is a pin or something that we put in to subscribe...bs...another scam because the same thing happened to my home phone...call the number above and ask for your refund...good luck

I just discovered that I was being charged $9.99 every month since Feb 2010, I don't text, or email from phone, and in fact I had blocked all those services in Mar.  But that did not stop the charges.  The Verizon agent said they were not responsible for third party services, that they had a contract with them but had no contact numbers and just to email txt to 77899 with a message to STOP.  THIS COMPANY IS SENDMEMOBILE.COM   I had one Verizon agent tell me that it was possible to sign up by accidantal pressing of keys with phone in my pocket, and pick up emails same way.  Of course I would also have to accidentally key in the password.

Just because you have these things BLOCKED by Verizon does not mean they will not continue to charge you.  You can get them to withdraw the charges for the current month, but not back months.  

There should be a lawsuit against sendmemobile.com or the cell phone companies, since they contract with these companies with immunity.

I tried replying with "UNSUBSCRIBE" and got a text back saying I hadn't subscribed to anything...no crap, really?! The website listed in the text isn't helpful either (www.sendmemobile.com)

did they ever send you the check? I just discovered $20 in charges on my last two phone bills.  Based on your post, I was wondering if they carried through on their promise to refund you.

Got my verizon bill and got 3 charges of 9.99 from some wwwsendmemobilecom , that I never heard nor authorized ...... Now verizon customer service tell me I have to pay !!!!!!

I keep getting txt messages from this company too. I sent them a message back telling them to stop and they said my subscription was canceled. Are they telling the truth or will they keep sending me messages and still charge me? I may have to go to my company for this because my parents are getting extremely upset. someone help me!!

Do NOT let them win!  Sue them in small claims court, for the lost amount and the court costs.  It is the principle of the thing.

All someone has to do is input your phone number on a website. What if you had a crazy ex who still had your number or a not so smart teenager on your bill? All that has to happen is your number being put into a website for "free answers" to a quiz. If I didn't like someone and had their cell phone number I could screw over anyone with these chargers on their bill. Has anyone actually gotten their return check from the company?? Cause if not, I am going after these idiots. If I do not receive my check I will file a class action law suit. This is a total scam and these guys need to be brought down.
