they called (recorded greeting) about extending my factory warranty, but never mentioned a company name

I got a call to. I'm not calling it back.

Oh yeah they called my cell i didn't answer. This is bs...tele marketers better not be wasting my minutes like this!

Got the call and when I answered it was nothing but static.  Called it back and got the number disconnected message.

just got it as well, on my cell.  [***] coated [***] with [***] cream filling.

This number called my phone, I missed the call and when I called back it said the number has been disconnected.

I just got the call also. Its the 10th time they've tried to call, and each time I answer. I even tried talking to their "sales rep" and asked who they were looking for since I didn't own a vehicle. They said they didn't know the names and only had the phone numbers... and I got hung up on when I asked who they were. I've changed my phone number twice, 2 different area codes... and still get the calls. What can I do to stop this and nail their sorry [***]?

"Second Warning" about car warranty expired. Obvious case of fraud; should fetch at least $500 in small claims court for me.

Received the call... didn't answer.  Instead looked it up and found this.  Glad I didn't waset my time eh!!!

I also got this call- and I've received the same call in the past month. Apparently hitting the "Do not call" option (which was #2 in my case) didn't do anything to prevent them from bothering me again!

Does anyone have a clever way to REALLY prevent them from calling you again?

I just got this call myself and googled the number and got this forum.....I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number and they didn't leave any voice message.

I just got a call from this number at 10:12 this morning....I looked at the caller id but didnt recognize the number so I didnt answer it,  I let the answering machine pick it up but they didnt leave a message...So I did a search on yahoo and it came back to Lance Keys in KS but I didnt try to call back.....I dont have Geico but I do have Progressive....

I received a call from 785-890-8855, but did not answer it. I tried to return the call, but said the line is not in service. I googled it and came upon this website that said this number is fictitious and has been calling all over the place. This is the first call I've had from this number. I did have another call last week but I didn't look it up. When I answered they said my warranty had expired on my car I bought last year. I also received a letter in the mail and it said that I had to call about my cars warranty. I did and they said my warranty expired on the car I bought last July. I didn't buy a car last July 07. They said sorry and hung up. I wish I had kept the card and the number now.

this person keeps calling me!!! i dont know them or anyone that lives in the area code!
