Received the same message from Marshall Maxwell. We have no debt whatsoever. I've noticed that a lot of people have commented that their number is new or that they have just moved to their home. Our number is only a few months old too, could that have something to do with it?

This idiot has been calling my house since I moved in April 2009.  I get aprox 2 to 3 calls a day from this screaming moron.  I called back the number he left once, only to hear a couple of beeps, then I was disconnected.  I am so fed up and would love to know how to stop the calls and/or have this creep hopitalized.

We've been getting the same message for months from an out of breath Marshall Maxwell about "an urgent matter" -- what a joke, this is a scam, DO NOT CALL. A legitimate firm would contact via mail and a live person on the phone.

Kept calling my son's (minor) cell. I registered his number with the National Do Not Call Registry.The National Do Not Call Registry is managed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency.

After you registered, you can report the caller.

Amendment:also contacted our phone company. Representative called this number and waited until reached this guy and told him off. Phone company also blocked the number.

Don't bother answering this recorded message. If you owed them money they will contact you by mail and by phone.  This phone thing is a scam and so don't bother wasting your precious time.  Screen with your answering machine.

Over the last 3 months, I get this recording about a Mr Flanagan, asking to call, the 800-443-2963, then 3 minutes later another recording phone calls comes and it is a lady. They never say who they are and who they need to speak to. It is very upsetting that a company calls in and leaves voice mails that just say call Mr Flanagan office today. Why would I use my cell phone to call someone I don't even know, and they don't. It needs to stop today.

I've been receiving several calls daily from this Marshall Maxwell. He is very loud, unclear and aggressive. I guess that's his intimidation voice. I have received no written letters from him, stating that I own anything, so I will just continue to ignore the calls.

I also get calls everyday from these people!  They refused to give me any information and applied a huge amount of fees to the original debt.  They are claiming this is an unpaid bedt from 2000.  I really do not recall this debt and they would not tell me anything except that I owed it to THEM.  I asked them to stop calling and they told me they would not.  

Well, I have the name and addy for these slimeballs and everyone PLEASE write them your cease and desist letters.  If they do not comply, report them to the FTC- they have a great little on-line template you can plug all their information into.

you people are idiots if your getting a call from a debt collection agency your probobly in debt if not call the company back they probably have the wrong number and if they have the right number then pay your bills and you wouldnt have these problems.and the message says its from mr.finningan and its a pre-recorded message people

NAFS is not a company that purchases debt they are simply a third party collection agency which means they do not own your account and therefore do apply any fees or interest any fees are coming from the owner of your account and are being applied to your account because those are the terms you agreed to in the original account- please do your homework.If you are so smart enough to give others advice please be smart enough to take some yourself pay your bills on time and you will never have a collection agency calling you

Its most likely a wrong number and the person who had it before you was in debt call the number back see who they are looking for and if its a wrong number they will remove it

You obviously dont know how to run a business this is the information age so most large companies use computer automated dialing systems to be cost effect they are more efficient they prerecord a message and send it to all the numbers they need to have called which can be thousands of phone numbers in a matter of minutes if you want to speak to a live person just call the company back

Spoken like a true person in debt who is hiding from there creditors if you are not in debt you have nothing to fear and therefore nothing to hide

I got a call from this number today, I was not home and if I was at home I would not have answer the call. My telephone has been ringing for the last 4 years from collection agencies calls. Using robot recording, unknown name unknown number, private, spoof numbers, and my area code numbers (that I don't recoqnized).
My telephone call pack has a certain amount of phone calls I can use each month, I'm not using them to call a collection agency back when they can use the U.S. Mail.

Anyone think I'm going to call them back and tell them over and over again that they have the wrong number is insane or into fraud. They should not be CALLING ME IN THE FIRST PLACE!  my credit report DON'T HAVE ANY DELIQUENT DEBT on it. GET OFF YOUR LAZY BUTT AND FIND A REAL JOB!

People if you decide to call DEBT COLLECTORS back don't give them any financial information, (ssn, credit card or name of your bank). Tell them to send a validation of the debt via mail.
I believe this caller is trying to put you on the defense with these type of calls and also into fraud.

Sundays calls are a vialation of the national do not call registry

Been there, done that. Called them back to see what they wanted, and they were looking for a woman whom I don't know. (I am a male). I suspect it was for a lady who had the phone number before I did.

Told them they had the wrong number, and they said they'd take me off their list. The calls stopped for about a month or so, but have recently started up again with a vengeance.

I guess the only way to get these people to stop is to fly to New York and beat the s**t out of somebody. Anybody live in Williamsville who can confirm that the address is valid?
