Got a call from them today, telling me that I have a package at such and such location, ready to be picked up.

its definitely fedex trying to upsell their current customers.  

They call me all the time. Daily and sometimes more than once a day on my cell phone! I asked them to remove me from their list, they say they will and yet I still get calls.

This call today was from fedex office/kinkos wanting to ask me about my printing needs! I don't have printing needs! I'm not a company. I'm just a guy with my own desktop printer.

I asked for the supervisor and demanded to be removed from the list. He said yes he would but I bet I'll get calls from fedex in the future.

I do have a fedex personal account and do use them for shipping once a month but I don't want them calling me daily trying to upsell me.

I told them I'll close my fedex account if they call again. UPS doesn't call me and I have a UPS account.

The number is absolutely FedEx.  It is actually 1-800-GOFEDEX.  They could be calling for a multitude of reasons.  I get the call because they are checking to see if my office is happy with the service.  This number will also show up for package or delivery issues as well as billing issues.

It's FedMex. I just called the number back, and they confirmed everything without my giving them any personal information at all. They had a record of the automatic call, and advised me of the delivery time. Do NOT give out ANY personal information to ANYONE Calling you like this, or emailing you like this. Phising is rampant via this method.

I am pretty sure they got my number from giving it an hour or so earlier to Verizon. I am in class, and they left a voicemail, I'll listen to it soon.

This is a legitimate automated call from FedEx.
I got a call to inform me about my package delivery date and tracking number.
At the end of the call you will be given an option to press "5" not to receive any more automated calls from FedEx.

Called and asked for my secretary that has been gone 5 years ago. Left no message.

Fedex - no idea why but I have no time for additional chatter.

I received a call on 3/4 around 3:00pm.  It was to a mobile phone so I didn't have Caller ID available other than the number.  I have my calls routed to my Google Voice # so I was able to read the transcribed message - it was from FedEx to confirm a shipment I had that was expected to arrived tomorrow requiring a signature.

If you use FedEx to ship an order placed via CC, they WILL have the telephone associated w/ that CC.

What's weird is HOW FedEx got my cell phone number to call. I've never given it to ANYONE. O'm considering suing the company I purchased product from for sharing my phone number without my explicit permission. THEY will pay to get my number changed.

From this number, I got an automated reminder from FedEx about a package I was expecting. It gave me the expected delivery time and tracking number (not that I don't have it already, but I think it is nice of them).

They called while I was trying to sync my iPhone, at 8am on a holiday. Unbelievable!

Also confirming that it was FedEx, an automated call about an international delivery I am expecting tomorrow, reminding me that it will need to be signed for, and what options I had available. They certainly called a tad early for my tastes, but I appreciated it nonetheless.

I received a Fedex automated call announcement that my package has been scheduled for delivery with its expected date and time. This was good for me to know this because it is an important package.

FedEx, they had a package of mine with an old address and needed my forwarding address.

FedEx, calling to tell me a delivery is scheduled and that someone will have to be  home to receive it.
