FedEx Ground calling about a package that I had called about that was lost they called to tell me that the package was lost in shipment and to file a claim with them for the cost of the lost item.

It is FED EX. In my case, calling about a package that they lost.

I received a call from 1-800-463-3339 and was unable to answer it because I was on another phone call. Generally I don't return calls to numbers I don't know about. However I looked up the number here and noted that comments said it was Fed-Ex.

I called it back and went through a brief automated section (I was asked to discribe what I needed) and was transfered to a living person.

It is a Fed-Ex number and I had been called in reference to a misdelivered package. It was a continuing investigation and I was assured that they would deliver the missing package as soon as possible. They even called up the ground transfer agent for my area and I talked with her as well. The phone call was courtious, polite, and professional.

It did show up as "TOLL FREE SCV"on caller ID and the number listed above.

I recieved several calls yesterday from this number. It is Federal ExPress Customer service, returning a call I made to them last week.

But, the fact they called several times, without leaving a message, a call back number or extension number shows just how unprofessional their customer service people are.

This number has always been legit for me.  If I have a COD or a delivery coming to my home, this number calls and leaves a message the day before or the morning that the package is coming.  I've never had any trouble with it.

This was an automated call service from FedEx telling me that my express parcel would be delivered the next morning, and that a signature was required, either in person or by leaving a signed note.

Wow, it is amazing how naive some of you are! Just because you reference checked the phone number doesn't mean that is the number they are calling from. There is an app for the Android phone where a person can call you from their phone, and on your caller ID it says another number, but really it is them (it blocks the true source telephone number). I received a call from FedEx about a shipment that needed a signature. Funny thing is they called my home phone which nobody has because I JUST moved into my apartment 3 weeks ago and have ordered nothing to be delivered. This is a total scam. Yes, that 800 number is legit but it is not FedEx calling, it is a scam, don't be so stupid just because you looked the number up and it is a FedEx number.

This number called me at home at 730AM!! Didn't answer the first call but they called back at 8:00AM and  it was FedEx calling to collect payment in advance(duties & taxes) for a shipment we were receiving from the US(to Canada).  I asked her why they were calling as I usually just pay the driver or receive an invoice from Customs.  She said they use an agent to deliver to my city and the agent doesn't collect money for them.  That makes sense, but really, 7:30am?  At least leave a message, I don't even usually answer 1-800 calls.

Many people have wondered how their cell phone number got on some account.  If you call a toll free number from your cell, they get your phone number, even if it is blocked.  Then, if you inquire about a certain account, their system is probably making a note of that phone number and putting it on the account.

This happens a lot with credit card companies.  You're behind on your credit card, and you wonder how the credit card company got your cell phone number.  It's because you checked your available credit from your cell phone.

This is all perfectly legal, by the way.

I got a call today asking for Mr. O'Donnell.  I told the caller that they had the wrong number and they called again asking for same info within 30 seconds.

This is a legitimate number. It's Fed-Ex, telling me about a package someone sent me.

At first, I was like, "I'm not expecting anything from them." I confirmed I was getting a package and the sender just didn't tell me.

Missed call from this number.  But no message.  I suppose it was FedEx since I am expecting a delivery, but no idea why they wouldn't leave a message.

It was FedEx to fix a shipping issue I had with a package. Try to sell U supplies on side like a upsale, but the call was legit for me.

They *did* leave a message.  I appreciated it.  Got my package.  Sweet.
