Call from FedEx informing me of a delivery needing an adult signature for a package I had diverted. No problem here.

Received a call from that number this morning but forgot who it was until coming here.  It was an automated notice that a company has sent me a package and would be delivered the next day, Saturday.  Gave me the tracking number as well as stating it would need a signature.  I though that was pretty good.  :-)

called stating from UPS and he wanted an address of one of our executives.  no information was given out.

One of the previous responses is correct: If it was from Fedex, it would identify itself as such. The Caller ID number that is displayed is bogus. It's a federal offense to hack the system and do this, but it doesn't stop them.

It was FedEx

Nothing odd with this number as has been said by several others. It's FedEx World Service Centre and the number used is a general number for them that they have used for years.....just Google it and you will find it soon enough.

yes it is a fed ex number.  they left me a message in regards to a missing package i had not recieved.

I received an email with this number in it insisting someone would be contacting me about my recent order. I haven't recently ordered anything from fedex. The confirmation email contained this number so I wondered if it was real or not.

I just got called by the same number with "Not Provided" as the caller.  I work at a bank and they were asking what sort of business I was with.  I told them if they were from FedEx and calling me, they would know our account numbers and what our business is.  When I asked the woman what account number they had on record for us she inexplicably hung up on me! Bottom line is,use some detective skills when someone calls and they don't seem legit.  Since they have already interrupted your day, have some fun and ask them the questions instead! Seems like the calls are shorter when I do that.      

I received a call from this number. No name on Caller ID, no message left

This was a legitimate call from FedEx to my cell phone telling me that they just delivered a package. I signed up for this service via the FedEx web site and did leave my cell number in the contact information along with e-mail. It all worked
very well. I did not recognize the 800 number and did not answer the call so they left an informative message. I put the 800 number in my contact list as FedEx for the next time.

I guess they got your message. FedEx just left me a voice message that a package (which I'm expecting) will arrive this coming Friday and that someone needs to be home to sign for, else will need to be picked up at their nearest location. Let me a tracking #, too.

FedEx robot telling me a package is coming, but the robot did not wait for the beep, so I did not get the full tracking #.

Female voice calling from "FedEx" claiming they needed more information about a package I shipped to Australia.  I have never shipped anything to Australia with FedEx.  She used my first name three times in the call and made it sound like it was urgent I call them back - something about package valuation and insurance - but did not provide a tracking number.  My guess is they were scammers illegally using FedEx's number as their Caller ID in order to make people think they are legitimate and to get them to answer/return the call.

Received 4 calls in the last 6 days from this number.  Three of the calls were just my name, the fourth asked, 'Is this (name)?'  I can't personally confirm this was FedEx (until I talk to them), but I did have an incoming package from FedEx.  Caller ID listed the last 2 calls as 'Tallahassee Reg.'  The first two didn't register on my caller ID.  

If this is indeed FedEx, it would be nice had they left a brief explanatory message!  I intend to tell them so when I pick up my package this morning.

Received a call from this number to my cell phone.  I answered and waited, but they hung up.  I see that many people say it was FedEx.  There was no name on the caller ID, but I did make a FedEx order this morning and they do have my cell number.

Left msg saying they wanted to update my email addrs. I've had a business account with Fed Ex for 5 years. I went into my on-line account and my email address is correct. Not sure why they need to discuss this with me by phone but feel it would be a waste of my time so I'll not bother calling them back. I checked my email and spam and they have not attempted to reach me by email. Not sure what this is about but it's annoying.
