I didn't get a call but same thing here - $59.90 charge on my credit card from DRI*8004974988GOOGLE ...  Noo clue who this is but Visa is taking them to court on my behalf.  woot

I found this charge in my account aswell. After finding this site i do remember giving my card # for 2.95 for the Google Home Buisness Kit just to see what it was.  For 2.95 I thought it was worth a look.  Google name seemed reputable so didn't expect any hidden charges.  Must have been something in one of the multipage agreements I had to click through.  Definitely a scam.

This is the biggest crock of [***] i have ever seen i was charged 79.00 for something i did not even purchase

The people who are doing this is Pacific Web Works @ 230 West 400 S Suite 100 Salt Lake City UT.  Their phone number is 801 578 9020.  The President is Christian R Larsen.  I found his home address, yes his home address is located at 873 Country Lane Farmington Utah 84025.  He is 33-34 years old and his home phone number is non published.

I got charged $69.90 and the bank said it was for some government grant, which I never applied for. This just happened today, so I'm glad I looked the number up on the internet and found this site. I canceled my card and will be filing a fraud charge thru my bank.

I've been charged to my credit card US$2.95 (March-05, 2009) and US$59.90 (March-12, 2009) from "DRI*8004974988eAuction8"...I've been trying to call the number but it was already closed. I will call them tomorrow. Per my credit card company I need to call the number appearing from my statement 800-494-4988 and try to cancel it and ask a Reference Number to make sure it is true. If did not resolve, I need to call my credit card company again.

This is what i did but then they charged me for another $59.99USD which turned out to be $80CAD a week later WTF. God damn scammers

they took 88.43 off my mastercard don't ask me how, but now i have to get them to put the money back. if i don't get the money . I have no clue what to do , I am a single mom and didn't need this, how can people use other people . Myself I think they should get out in the real world and get jobs like the rest of us.

I just got hold of teh FFFFFF people and they won't give me my money back , So PLEASE ANY ONE DON"T FALL for the [***] they are pulling.

Had a charge of $2.95 placed on my capital one card of Feb 20 by "DRI*8004974988eAuction 800-497-4988  MN".  I haven't used this card in months, so I knew the charge was fradulent.  Scammers burn in hell.

they did the same to me., and when i called the girl said that this 88.43 is billed to your card every month. they do have it there but the only thing it is with the address at the  bottom of the page in very small print, When I ask her for the money back she told me to go to the police and get them to get my  money back . What scammers they are,

1-800-497-4988 is a google atm cash kit software to help you build a website for advertising. yes the one that is supposed to be free. jst pay the $3 shipping n handling. they charge you $70.00 a month for this. this is what it shows on credit card: "dri*8004974988 eAuction."place.
be weary of internet scams. they drew $69.90 off my card with out my knowledge. only through the phone did they say it was $70.00 a month.

JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH BANK OF AMERICA ABOUT THIS SAME THING, GLAD TO SEE STEPHEN HAS GOTTEN HIS $ BACK BOTH TIMES AND THAT MAKES ME FEEL BETTER KNOWING THAT IT WILL HAPPEN EVENTUALLY, SO IF ANYONE HAS DISCOVERED WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE PLEASE TELL ME CUZ THEY DEFFINATELY F***ED WITH THE WRONG ONE THIS TIME

I called DRI to request a refund was told to forget it. I have contacted BBB and will take further action. Companies should not be allowed to cheat people. They are either an honest buz if not the law should shut them down.

well if they want my Canadian dollars they are really desperate LOL
Cancelled my card,  and VISA here is extra they even took the time to check my statements from several months
I am sending a (letter of something(can say it in English) letter comes from a lawyer); we say in French "Mise en demeure"
They have to know that we are not without resources

I got a call from this number but didn't answer it. Then I noticed a charge from them on my debit card

I received 2 charges on my creidt card account from the same place. I called and they had all my information. They are issuing me a refund and also informed me to call the authorities as they have received all my information without my knowledge. I am happy that there were cooperative and I suggest everyone call to cancel the account and get their money back.

This company is a fraud and charge people monthly for something that was not ordered. I caught it on the first charge and canceled my C card immediately. It really is the only way. Try calling the 800 # but they will not issue a refund.

I got this advertisement about HOW CAN WORK AT HOME WITH GOOGLE. I gave my number credit card (IT WAS A big MISTAKE), now they discount every week money...... and in that ad, said only 3$ will cost that service........ SO DON'T GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO PACIFIC WEB WORKS.........THIS company will steal your money

Surprise surprise! Got one charge for $ 59.00, too. WTF??
