Am being called by this number 18005531077 a few times a day. Caller ID says Insurance Service. Every time I answer it hangs up. I let the machine get it and no messege left. I am tired of this number calling me all the time..There HAS to be some way to report this.... Of course I am also on the DO NOT CALL list.... HEY!!! maybe they are the ones sending our number out..lol

My husband received this number and they asked for myself or my son... fortunately we weren't available... but I did try to call back... the number has always been busy

This has been happening to me too, so I called the number back.  I got a recording saying that if I want more information to call some 900 number for only $9 per call, must be 18 years or older.  Whatever.  I immediatly put my numbers on the do not call list.  We'll see what happens.

I'v been getting calls from this person three times a day and i just want this person to STOP calling for ever!!!

We dont usually post about such calls, but this one was too good:

We were called by this number two times today.
First time, we asked for identification, caller hung up.
The second time he got snotty, and gave his name as Mike since "he had no problem identifying himself", then asked for my husband/ Todd by full last and first name.

I asked what he was calling about, he said he was calling on behalf of our mortgage company whose exact name he provided, and could only talk to Todd although were both authorized on the paperwork which I told him, but he ignored.

My husband who was listening in on the call got in and told him to talk to me( his wife).

The caller still insisted he had to talk to Todd personally at which point I made extensively clear to him he had not to esp since he had just been told so by the requested party, and that his calls were not of interest to us and rather suspicious since the number did not match any numbers we connected with our mortgage company, and not to call again. I hung up.

You can call the 800 number back, it will tell you "Insurance services" just tried calling you with a special offer.
It will give you the option to either ask for another call( 1), or have your number listed on a "do not call list" ( 2)

We did list our number on the do not call list.

Best part: I also called our mortgage company and reported esp the part of the caller saying he was calling on behalf of them, and was confirmed the number was not one of theirs and not affiliated with any of their marketing activites( ie insurances).

It's National Union Fire Insurance. Just call back this number and the machine will pick up. Follow the instructions and enter your phone #, they will put you on "DO not CALL" option.

If any one can tell me how to contact those people and tell them to get me out of there F@#$ list.

I want them to quit calling

Back last fall this number kept calling several times everyday for at least amonth.  Finally they stopped.  They have started up again just last week calling 2-3 times a day, everyday! I have caller ID; and I don't answer the phone since I do not recognize the number. They do not leave any messages on the phone, and I am on the NO CALL list.

This number calls 10 times a day.  I even tried answering it to tell them to STOP but no one picks up.  I want them stopped!

Geez...they call everyday..sometimes more than once a day...do they ever give up?  Do Not Call Registry doesn't seem to help.  Anybody got any suggestions besides an answering machine?  It's really getting annoying after 6 mos!!

Always a recording, turned them in to the FCC for violating the NDNC Registry, and inquired as to their right to sell in Arkansas.

I have been getting calls form this number and I usualy don't answer it but I did today. What I got was "May I speak to Elizabeth Wendt" when I said I was she the women said thank you and laughed and the phone went dead.

Called Monday 01 June 2009 came up Toll Free number, NONE of which I ever answer.  I've been on the do not call list from the very first day and you do NOT have to re-enters your number(s) every five years;  that was "fixed" some time ago.  I don't think anybody though ever actually looks at those lists before calling.  Several years ago a group of callers got a multimillion dollar judgement against a restaurant that kept faxing their menu everyday to people who were on the list.  There is a fine for each call but collecting it is another matter.

I'm going to the Attorney General's Office..........I've had it with telemarketing.........and yes, I have utilized the "do not call"........is totally worthless also.

They keep calling and calling. Numerous times a day. Told them to stop and they say they will call back later or when you pick up there is no one there or they hang up.

They have been calling me several times a day, for weeks.   We answer, and no one is there.   Finally called them back, and asked to be on their do not call list.    Seems to be a waste of time for them, kind of hard to sell anything if when I pick up, they hang up.

The name of the company is Sitel Corporation and they are hired by mortgage companies, insurance companies, etc to make these solicitation calls. Answer and ask to speak to a supervisor and demand that you be removed from their list. The call that I received was the result of a relationship that I have with GMAC and I have now requested that GMAC put me on their do not call list.
