This was GMAC.  I told her to remove me from their no-call list.  Her reply was, "As long as you have a standing agreement with GMAC we have the right to call you."

they called my freaking house so many damn times... it got so bad it was like every day sometimes twice a day... i would pick up then hang up right after.... kept calling.... didnt pick up ----went to the answering machine where they hung up immeadiatly.... the num 1 thing tht would piss me off is that when i would pick up and say, "hello?" no one would say nething.... makes me say WTF?

What is the purpose of making comments when this caller will not give up annoying me and my family at all hours of the day!!!!

These people call day & night. Asking for someone who doesn't even live here. But, I think I know what company it really is, and if that is so (according to previous posts here) it is a debt that I am paying on through the creditor personally. If they would just be truthful about it and tell me up front, I'd talk to them. I hate this back & forth business and the caller ID switching and the deception. That wastes my time.
The person called 5 times today, 5 times yesterday, within 4-5 minutes of each call. To me, that's harassment. I will just change my number to unlisted and see how they like that.

Google voice is your friend.  I just block the number entirely.  Now when they call, they get a not in service message.

Telemarketers need a job, we need more troops in Afganistan ...

These toll free calls are a pain in the A.., do they not know most of us have caller ID, and are eduacated people, I only except calls from people I know and I have given my number too.....
Get a real job, and stop playing the fool.
When we donot pick up the phone the first time, it means we know whos calling and decided NOT too talk to you!

Do Not Call list does not expire, these people do not care they continue calling no matter ,because there is not any meaningful enforcement of the DNC list

They call day and night at least 15 times a day now. My daughter called the number back and went to option #3 to put us on the "no call list" they said that we may still get calls for 2 days....then HOPEFULLY they will stop calling. I'm sick and tired of this!!!

They call my house all the time too.  I have called back and advise to take me off the do not call list.  They still call me about 4 times a day.  What pain in the butts.

just got a call from them they said they were calling for HSBC. Offered a free gas voucher, and auto-accident insurance. Then wanted me to speak to a supervisor so the supervisor could "enroll" me. I told them I already have insurance, and don't need gas money and to please not call this number again. Next call is to HSBC....

I refuse to answer any unidentified 1800-numbers and this one calls me repeatedly from early morning til late at night.  I want them to stop calling me.

Talk about harassment and so much for the National Call List!

They were calling my office number, which I have not registered on the DO NOT CALL list. Following advice from another list, I called the number back and selected option 3 to be placed on their do not call list after entering your number. (Options are 1 - tell me about this special offer, 2 - do not tell me about the offer, 3 - add my number to the do not call list.)

when I called it was a fax line , when they call me they just hang up they are calling a business

some fire insurance company,, just call it bakc and they give u an option to remove from their list by pressing 3, and entering ur #..

calls, then hangs up when I answer. No name is listed on caller ID.

This number came with an id of "NOT PROVIDED": The person just said she was from US Bank and told my wife she was just calling to pass a greeting. This is very strange.

I called back the 800#, pressed option 3 "do not contact list" and punched in my phone # that has been called daily to be removed from the calling list.

3 calls last week.  I don't pick up "Not Provided" or otherwise unidentified callers (Caller ID obviously).  No messages ever left.
