- JoeThis is website is a great service. More and more, I turn the ringers off at night and only back on after morning coffee. I received a call from this number this am, with no message and now understand from this site it is some sort of telemarketing, probably a call center. Thanks!

"Insurance Services" (Caller id "800 Service") have called me (excuse me, my spouse) four times between 4 Jan 2008 and 9 Jan 2008. They don't want to talk to me. Spouse is not home in the day. They call in the day.
Worse, I am on the Do Not Call list and have been since 2002. I have reported "Insurance Services" to www.donotcall.gov. I have told "Insurance Services" that I am on the do not call list and have requested to get off of their list. I have called "Insurance Services" back and requested to be off of their list.
What do I have to do to get rid of this telemarker? What is their real telephone number because this number only goes to two options. One is "Will you please call me back," which is obviously no good. Two is "Please put me on your do not call list," which obviously does not work.
Argh!- Caller: National Union Fire Insurance
- JohnThey have called 3x, always want me but have gotten the wife and son. Claim that they work for or on behalf of Wells Fargo Bank. I have filed a complaint with the bank who claim no knowledge of them. There is a note in my file at the bank that we are on the Fed and Texas do not call list and as such the bank states they will not release our info. A recheck of the 2 do not call list shows all our numbers as do not call.
- Caller: told family they are "connected" with bk
- MawMawThey call 4 or 5 times a day and hang up when the machine picks up. I am also on the no call list.
- just curiousthey call and hang up?
- DanHave received three calls from this number in last two weeks. I always let it go to voicemail. No message is ever left.
- LI receive calls from these people 3 times each day, not only on my home line but also my cell and my husband cell phone! I used to just hang up on them, but I have been so irritated that I pressed the number to speak to a live person. I politely asked for the company's address and corporate phone number. I was told that is privileged information for their clients only. I explained they keep calling me constantly to make me their client so why not give me the information. The man with a foreign accent (sounded Spanish) was getting agitated with me. He began to tell me I sound like a "weird lady". What a response! He said that to me at least 2 more times when I told him his company should have nothing to hide and to just give me the information. He then hung up on me. The "company" identified itself only as "Vehicle Warranty Services". I contacted the FCC and will be pursuing this further!
- Caller: Warranty Services
- philif you have an IP phone you can play trick with these people. You can program a number to which you forward the call. What I did was I programmed it to forward the call to the same number. It was funny because they called and I pressed the "Forward Call" button and then after 30 seconds they called again and pressed the button again. They probably wondered why they were talking to one of their own. It was funny. They never called again.

- anniewhen I answered this call, the caller claimed to be with my bank a(wells fargo) calling to offer me insurance. They also claimed to have me enrolled in a insurance program, and that all they needed me to do was read over the offer and varify that I wanted to keep the insurance. I repeatedly told her I was not interested. And that I did not want the offer she was claiming that I was enrolled in.
- Caller: wells fargo
- Katereceived call at about 1:30pm . left no message
- EdCalls everyday: 3 - 5 times per day. Never a message and I do not answer.
- Caller: Toll Free Number
- Terri HernandezI am on the "DO NOT CALL" list. I get calls from this number at all hours. Early mornings, mid day, late night. I want them to stop calling
- AliThey have been calling my home for several weeks. I finally answered it to tell them to quit calling. The telemarketer asked for my husband, and I told her he was not here. She did not identify where she was calling from. I got curious so went searching online, finding this site. I did what a previous poster had done, and called them back (NATIONAL UNION FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY OF PITTSBURGH, PA) to complete the automated prompts for removal. We will see if it works!

- GaryThese people have been calling every evening, sometimes 2x in one evening. Most of the time when I pick up it hangs up. Once I did hear a womans voice but she kept saying "Hello", "Hello", so I hung up. I just called back and did the press 2 to remove your number and then enter my number. I was hesitant at first but they already have my number so what's the harm. Only time will tell if that will be the end of that.
- Caller: 800 Service
- AnnoyedI started getting calls from this number about a week ago on nearly daily basis.
I searched the web for the number and I came across the name and I too came up with the result National Union Fire, which is now AIG.
When you call an 800 number, the other end usually have a ANI service, so even if you block caller ID, they can still get your name and billing phone number. If you don't believe me, do a bit of research on this matter. I know this. As a kid friend and I pranked some 888 number using *67 and they called him right back.
Anyways, I called using IP-Relay, then after getting through the receptionist to a person named Kim, I called back on my regular phone. They were very professional unlike the ones leaving the msg.
She said my number is not anywhere on their file and after consulting others internally, she stated it is not AIG who is doing this. Unlike ANI information, caller ID information can be spoofed using the right equipment or VoIP type device that allows you to set your own "outgoing" number, so I suspect that is what's happening.
I'm not sure how they got my phone number and my full name though. The only ones who have my full name + landline number are family members, credit card comapnies and Wells Fargo.
Wells Fargo claims it doesn't release personal information to third party when I called 1-800-TO-WELLS and inquired.
This is really pi**ing me off. - PeteCalls all the time and then just hangs up!
- SheilaThey just called a few minutes ago and asked for Kylie. DH name is Kyle as I thought they won't know that Kylie isn't a girl so I said "Speaking" and she hung up.

- M fordSomeone from this number keeps calling our house. Does anyone know who it is?
- Jamie Williamsjust clicking, and then hangs up. Sounds like it is a machine calling.
- Keith Limritewhen the call came in, it looked like a telemarketer. I figured if it was something important---they would leave a message. They didn't even give voice mail a chance to pick up.
I think I've seen this number before and I wish it would stop
Keith
